(00:02:04) 那 大概 六月 底 的 時候 我 一時 興起 開始 想 如果 我要 做 podcast 的話 ， 我 的 podcast 封面 應該 要長 怎樣 ， 我 就 開始 動手做 看看 ， 做 一 做 我 就 開始 想 我 應該 要 成立 一個 網站 ， 這樣 才能 放 我 的 逐字 稿 ， 做 完 網站 我 就 想 說 那 接下來 應該 試試看 錄音 ， 於是 我 就 買 了 一個 亞馬遜 上面 特價 的 麥克風 開始 來 錄錄 看 ， 然後 到 現在 已經 錄 到 第十集 了 耶 。 (00:02:04) Then around the end of June, I started thinking about what my podcast cover should look like if I were to do a podcast, so I started to do it, and I started thinking about me when I did it. 做 這個 podcast 拯救 了 我 doing this podcast saved me

(00:04:25) 我 不 知道 大家 知不知道 這個 台灣 文化 ： 台灣 的 家長 其實 會 希望 自己 的 小孩 可以 考上 好 大學 、 做 一份 像是 醫生 、 律師 、 工程師 之類 的 好 工作 ， 要 可以 出人頭地 ， 不然 就是 至少 要 做 一份 薪水 還 OK 又 安穩 的 工作 。 (00:04:25) I don’t know if everyone knows this Taiwanese culture: Parents in Taiwan actually hope that their children can be admitted to a good university, have a good job like a doctor, a lawyer, an engineer, etc. You can get ahead, otherwise you have to do at least a job with a good salary and a stable job. 我 覺得 我 之前 受到 這種 觀念 的 影響 ， 讓 我 不太敢 大膽 地 做 想 做 的 事 ， 結果 就是 我 一點 都 不 開心 。 I think I was influenced by this concept before, and it made me not daring to do what I wanted to do. 最 讓 我 意外 的 事 the most surprising thing

(00:05:24) 那 做 這個 podcast 最 讓 我 意外 的 是 我 的 朋友 、 尤其 是 我 的 家人 都 很 支持 我 。 (00:05:24) What surprised me most about doing this podcast is that my friends, especially my family, are very supportive of me. 我 一 開始 很怕 我 爸媽 會 說 ：「 欸 你 幹嘛 做 什麼 podcast， 又 不能 賺錢 。」 At first, I was afraid that my parents would say, "Hey, why do you do podcasts without making money." 但是 我 跟 我 爸媽 講 之後 ， 他們 意外 的 很 支持 我 ， 覺得 我 是 在 做 一件 好事 。 But after I talked to my parents, they unexpectedly supported me and felt that I was doing a good thing. 我 生日 的 時候 我 爸還 跟 我 說 ：「 你 想 做 什麼 事 ， 就 大膽 去 實現 。」 On my birthday, my dad said to me, "Whatever you want, do it boldly." 我 看到 的 時候 真的 很 感動 ， 因為 我 覺得 身為 一個 台灣 的 家長 ， 他 可以 鼓勵 我 做 一個 可能 會 被 當作 不務正業 的 事情 真的 很 難得 。 When I saw it, I was really moved, because I felt that as a Taiwanese parent, it was really hard for him to encourage me to do something that might be considered as unsatisfactory.
