روزی روزِگاری خانِوادِه ای بودَند کهِ شاد زِندگی می کَردَند. Es war einmal eine Familie, die glücklich lebte. Once upon a time there was a family that lived happily. Il était une fois une famille qui vivait heureuse.

آنها هیچوَقت با هَم نَجنگیدند. Sie haben nie gegeneinander gekämpft. They never fought each other. Ils ne se sont jamais battus. آنها دَرخانه وَ زَمین هایِ کِشاوَرزی به پِدَر وَ مادَرِشان کُمَک کَردَند. Sie halfen ihrem Vater und ihrer Mutter im Haus und auf dem Ackerland. They helped their father and mother in the house and agricultural lands. Ils aidaient leur père et leur mère dans la maison et les terres agricoles.

وَلی آنها اِجازهِ یِ نَزدیک شِدَن به آتَش را نَداشتَند. Aber sie durften sich dem Feuer nicht nähern. But they were not allowed to approach the fire. Mais ils n'étaient pas autorisés à s'approcher du feu.

آنها مَجبور بودند کِه تَمام کارهایِشان را دَر طول شَب اَنجام دَهند. Sie mussten ihre ganze Arbeit in der Nacht erledigen. They had to do all their work during the night. Ils devaient faire tout leur travail pendant la nuit. چون بَدَنِشان اَز جِنسِ موم بود. Weil ihr Körper aus Wachs war. Because their body was made of wax. Parce que leur corps était fait de cire.

اَما یِکی اَز پِسَرها آرزو داشت کِه دَر زیر نورِ آفتاب بیرون بِرَوَد. Aber einer der Jungen wollte hinaus in die Sonne. But one of the boys wished to go out in the sunlight. Mais l'un des garçons souhaitait sortir au soleil.

یِک روز، دیگر نَتوانِست طاقَت بیاوَرَد. Eines Tages konnte er es nicht mehr ertragen. One day, he could not bear it anymore. بَچه هایِ مومی خِیلی ناراحَت شُدَند کِه دیدند بَرادَرِشان دَر جِلویِ چشمِشان ذوب شد. Mumis Kinder waren sehr aufgebracht, als sie sahen, wie ihr Bruder vor ihren Augen dahinschmolz. آنها بَرادَرِشان را کِه بِه شِکلِ پَرَندِه دَر آمَدِه بود را بالایِ یِک کوهِ بُلَند بُردَند. Sie nahmen ihren Bruder, der in Form eines Vogels kam, mit auf die Spitze eines hohen Berges. They took their brother who came in the form of a bird to the top of a high mountain. Ils ont emmené leur frère qui est venu sous la forme d'un oiseau au sommet d'une haute montagne.

وَقتی کِه آفتاب طلوع کَرد بَرادَرِشان هَمین طور کِه آواز می خواند بِه دوردَست ها پَرواز کَرد. Als die Sonne aufging, flog ihr Bruder weg, während er sang. When the sun rose, their brother flew far away as he sang. Quand le soleil s'est levé, leur frère s'est envolé au loin en chantant.
