Disordine e disorganizzazione (un testo per imparare il congiuntivo)

Ciao a tutti, ragazzi e ragazze, benvenuti e bentornati, questo è Podcast Italiano, il podcast e canale YouTube per imparare l'italiano attraverso contenuti interessanti e autentici. Oggi torna la nostra serie di episodi dedicati al congiuntivo.

Per chi stesse ascoltando questo podcast per la prima volta e non sapesse di cosa sto parlando lasciatemi spiegare velocemente l'idea alla base di questi episodi “grammaticali”. A me, Davide, non piace molto insegnare la grammatica in maniera tradizionale. Preferisco creare delle storie o dei testi incentrati su un argomento grammaticale. Che significa? Significa che prendo una struttura grammaticale e la inserisco tantissime volte in un testo per mostrarvi come si usa. Ho fatto altri episodi del genere, non solo sul congiuntivo, e mi sembra un modo interessante di esercitarsi nella grammatica di una lingua.

A proposito, potrebbero esserci persone che non hanno idea di cosa sia il congiuntivo. Idea di cosa SIA il congiuntivo, questo per esempio è un congiuntivo. Il congiuntivo è infatti un modo verbale, così come lo è l'indicativo. L'indicativo è detto il modo della certezza, mentre il congiuntivo il modo del dubbio, dell'incertezza, della soggettività, dell'ipoteticità. Ci sono casi in cui usare il congiuntivo è obbligatorio e ci sono casi in cui è facoltativo, ovvero a discrezione della persona che parla: si può usarlo e si può non usarlo e la differenza in questi casi è prettamente stilistica.

Se il vostro livello di italiano non è molto alto, magari state iniziando a imparare l'italiano e non avete alcuna familiarità con il congiuntivo ribadisco che secondo me non vi conviene impararlo, vi conviene (cioè è meglio per voi) aspettare un po' di tempo, ascoltare tanto, arricchire il vostro lessico, soprattutto passivo e poi in futuro dedicare del tempo a imparare più nel dettaglio il congiuntivo. Questo è il mio personalissimo consiglio. Poi nulla vi impedisce se siete principianti di ascoltare comunque questo episodio magari godendovi semplicemente il testo e tralasciando ciò che dico sul congiuntivo.

Il mio obiettivo infatti non è solamente di spiegarvi le regole del congiuntivo: a questo fine ci sono già tantissimi video su YouTube (un canale su tutti che vi posso consigliare è Learn italian with Lucrezia, che quasi tutti conoscerete); ma ci sono anche i manuali di grammatica, ci sono siti web, ecc. Io voglio fare qualcosa di leggermente diverso, cerco di creare delle storie che siano interessanti in cui voi abbiate modo di sentire in contesto (e questo è fondamentale) la struttura che stiamo analizzando tante, tante, tante volte.

Vi consiglio di non limitarvi a sentire la storia una volta sola, riascoltatela 3, 4, 5, 10 volte, perché no (se avete tempo, ovviamente)? Vi assicuro che se farete così prima di tutto le forme del congiuntivo inizieranno a entrarvi in testa. Il secondo vantaggio è che inizierete a memorizzare intuitivamente anche i casi in cui si usa il congiuntivo, quindi dopo quali verbi, in quali costruzioni è necessario adoperarlo. Ovviamente se non vi va di ascoltare un episodio 10 volte non siete obbligati a farlo, per carità. Ma può essere secondo me un buon esercizio, quindi ve lo consiglio.

Vi consiglio anche di ascoltare prima di questo i due episodi precedenti sul congiuntivo, dato che tanti usi che torneranno nel testo di oggi li ho già spiegati nei due episodi precedenti.

Un terzo consiglio è… di iscriversi ad Italki. Vi ho parlato tanto volte di Italki e sono sicuro che tanti di voi sappiano già (sappiano, congiuntivo) che cos'è, ma magari c'è ancora qualcuno che non lo sa. Prima di partire con il testo di oggi voglio nuovamente fare un riassunto dei casi d'uso del congiuntivo che abbiamo già affrontato. Abbiamo già visto cinque casi su otto e oggi ne vedremo altri due. Ah, a proposito, questi episodi sono basati sul libro “Il Congiuntivo” di Mancini e Marani, che vi posso consigliare tra l'altro, quindi seguo la loro classificazione.

1) Il primo caso comprende verbi di vario genere che indicano volontà, aspettativa, dubbio, speranza. Farò una frase per ogni tempo del congiuntivo. Abbiamo visto che ci sono quattro tempi del congiuntivo, presente, passato, imperfetto, trapassato. I miei esempi saranno in questo ordine.

– Giovanni spera che smetta di piovere presto.

– Mi aspetto che le cose siano cambiate dall'ultima volta che sono stato in Italia.

– Volevo che i dipendenti lavorassero più duramente.

– Lorenzo dubitava che suo fratello fosse già tornato dall'India.

2) Nel secondo caso incontriamo le espressioni impersonali.

È impossibile che quella storia sia vera.

È bello che Federico abbia trovato un lavoro così in fretta.

Si dice che il Cardinal Mezzofanti conoscesse centinaia di lingue

Si pensava che Mezzofanti avesse imparato tantissime lingue.

3) Il terzo caso sono i verbi di opinione.

Riteniamo che voi siate i responsabili di quanto è accaduto.

Pensi che Eleonora sia cambiata ultimamente?

Non pensavo che Carla fosse così brava in inglese.

Mi sembrava che il postino avesse suonato alla porta.

4) Il quarto caso è costituito dalle domande indirette. Andate a risentire l'ultimo episodio se volete sentire la mia spiegazione su cosa sono le domande indirette.

Mi chiedo perché Veronica continui a raccontare falsità.

Non sappiamo dove siano andati i nostri amici.

Mi chiedevo che cosa stesse facendo mio padre in garage.

Volevo capire se fosse stato tuo zio a lasciare la porta del garage aperta.

5) Il quinto caso (anche questo spiegato nell'ultimo episodio) è composto dalle frasi finali e concessive. Vediamo due esempi di frasi finali, che possono essere solamente al presente e all'imperfetto.

È stato prolungato lo stato di emergenza nazionale affinché il governo possa prendere decisioni più rapidamente.

Ti ho raccontato la storia affinché tu mi capissi.

Vediamo anche qualche esempio di frase concessiva.

Sebbene mi piaccia la musica elettronica non riesco ad ascoltarla per più di un'ora.

Benché tu abbia imparato il congiuntivo non sai ancora usarlo bene.

Nonostante piovesse molto forte Giovanni uscì a correre.

Per quanto avessi viaggiato il mondo nessun paese mi aveva impressionato quanto la Cina.

Questo era il riassunto degli usi del congiuntivo che ho già spiegato e che ritorneranno anche in questo episodio. 6) Vediamo ora un nuovo uso del congiuntivo, il sesto caso, ovvero le frasi relative.

Innanzitutto, che cos'è una frase relativa? Una frase relativa è una frase secondaria, oppure subordinata, introdotta da un pronome relativo. Quali sono i pronomi relativi? Che, cui, il quale, la quale, i quali, le quali, dove. In realtà “dove” è un avverbio, ma in questo caso ha la funzione di pronome relativo. Facciamo un esempio.

Ho letto il libro che mi ha consigliato mio fratello. “Che mi ha consigliato mio fratello” è la frase relativa.

Hai letto il libro di cui ti ho parlato? “Di cui ti ho parlato” è la frase subordinata, “cui” è il pronome relativo. Possiamo anche avere una preposizione, in questo caso “di”, prima del pronome relativo. “Di cui”

Questo è il paese da dove vengo. “Da dove vengo” è la frase relativa. Anche qui abbiamo una preposizione prima del pronome relativo, “da” + “dove”.

Il padre rimprovera il figlio, il quale, però, lo ignora “Il quale, però, lo ignora” è una frase relativa. “Il quale”, se non lo sapete, è sinonimo di “che”.

Ora che abbiamo ripassato che cosa sono le frasi relative vediamo in che modo si usa il congiuntivo in questo tipo di frasi.

Voglio andare in un posto dove faccia meno caldo. Dove “faccia”.

Innanzitutto il congiuntivo non è obbligatorio. Potremmo dire anche “voglio andare in vacanza in un posto dove fa meno caldo”.

La differenza, in teoria, è questa. Se uso l'indicativo so già il posto dove voglio andare, ho già in mente dove voglio andare. La frase potrebbe continuare così:

“Voglio andare in vacanza in un posto dove fa meno caldo. Prova a indovinare qual è questo posto.”

Chi parla ha ben in mente il posto, lo ha già deciso.

Se chi parla dice invece:

“Voglio andare in vacanza in un posto dove faccia meno caldo”

significa che chi parla non conosce questo posto, non ha deciso dove andare . È una qualità che è necessaria per lui o per lei, ma non ha ancora trovato o determinato il posto dove andrà in vacanza. Si tratta comunque di una distinzione che nel parlato non sempre viene fatta.

– Usiamo il congiuntivo anche con i superlativi relativi [in una frase relativa]. Per es.

“Parigi è la città più cara in cui io sia mai stato”

“Eleonora è la persona più intelligente che conosca”

Si tratta di opinioni o sensazioni, per questo usiamo il congiuntivo.

– Possiamo (ma non è obbligatorio) usare il congiuntivo in una frase relativa dopo “niente”, “nulla”, “nessuno”, “tutto”, “ogni”, “ognuno”. Vediamo qualche esempio.

“Non c'è nessuno che possa darmi un passaggio fino a casa?”

“Non c'è niente che mi piaccia in questo negozio”

– E si usa anche con alcuni pronomi, aggettivi, avverbi indefiniti, come “chiunque”, “qualunque”, “comunque””, “ovunque” che hanno nel loro significato un pronome relativo.

“Chiunque” non abbia compiuto diciotto anni non può entrare. “chiunque” ha il significato di “ogni persona che”.

“Qualsiasi cosa dicessi non mi credeva.” “Qualsiasi cosa” significa “ogni cosa che tu dica”.

“Comunque vada l'esame sarò contento”.

“Ovunque siano le chiavi, devo trovarle”

Ora ci sentiamo il testo che ho preparato per voi in cui sentirete molte volte questo nuovo uso del congiuntivo insieme anche agli usi che abbiamo visto negli scorsi episodi. Sul mio sito troverete la trascrizione con la legenda, che significa che di fianco a ogni congiuntivo avrete il numero corrispondente all'uso del congiuntivo in base alla classificazione che sto usando e il numero dei casi, dall'uno al sei. Vi consiglio caldamente di andare a leggere anche la trascrizione. Buon ascolto!

Verbi di volontà, aspettativa, dubbio, sentimento e controllo -1 (volere che, sperare che, dubitare che, ecc.) espressioni impersonali – 2 (è strano, è bello, pare, sembra, ecc.) Verbi di opinione – 3 (credere che, pensare che, ecc.) Domande indirette (frasi interrogative indirette) – 4 (non so quanti anni abbia, mi chiedo dove sia andato Fabio) Frasi finali o concessive – 5 (ti spiego affinché tu mi capisca meglio / benché mi piaccia la pizza non la mangerei tutti i giorni) NUOVO: Frasi relative (nota: il congiuntivo non è sempre necessario dopo le frasi relative) – 6 (Voglio andare in vacanza in un posto dove faccia meno caldo) Altri congiuntivi (A)

Disordine e disorganizzazione

La scorsa volta vi ho raccontato della mia memoria scadente. Oggi, per continuare la rubrica “difetti di Davide” ho deciso di parlarvi di altri due aspetti negativi della mia personalità: il disordine e la disorganizzazione. Sono due caratteristiche di cui non vado fiero e che, se potessi (A – periodo ipotetico) eliminare pagando una somma di denaro in questo esatto momento, eliminerei. Credo che queste due caratteristiche abbiano (3) un effetto negativo sulla mia vita più grande rispetto alla mia scarsa memoria e siano (3) fonte di problemi e fastidio non solo per me, ma anche per le persone che mi circondano. Perché per quanto pessima possa (5) essere la propria memoria dubito che la smemoratezza possieda (1) lo stesso stigma sociale che ha il disordine. Forse la cosa peggiore, socialmente parlando, che possa (6 – superlativo) accadere a una persona smemorata è dimenticarsi di avere un appuntamento con un'altra persona, o il compleanno di un amico o amica o, peggio, del partner. Ok, sicuramente non sono cose belle e piacevoli. Ora che ci penso, non lo sono per niente. Comunque sia (6), intendo dire che il disordine e la disorganizzazione sono ancora peggio. Se casa tua è totalmente disordinata o addirittura sporca vieni giudicato dalle altre persone (sia che manifestino (A) la propria disapprovazione ad alta voce, sia che si limitino (A) a giudicarti internamente) specialmente da chi invece ritiene che l'ordine e la pulizia siano (3) qualcosa di importante o di sacro.

Attenzione però: benché si tratti di (5) due caratteristiche che spesso si hanno insieme (chi ha una ha anche l'altra), disordine e disorganizzazione non sono la stessa cosa. Credo che una delle due sia (3) la causa dell'altra: volendo cercare una causa che spieghi (6) perché alcune persone, come me, sono disordinate, secondo me dovremmo dare la colpa proprio alla mancanza di organizzazione. La disorganizzazione causa il disordine; ma causa anche tanti altri problemi.

Che cos'è la disorganizzazione? Se dovessi (A – periodo ipotetico) darle una definizione direi che è l'assenza di sistemi e strutture nella propria vita che ti permettano (6) di sapere con certezza come comportarti nelle maggior parte delle situazioni della vita quotidiana e che ti aiutino (6) a limitare le ambiguità nel prendere decisioni.

Come ho detto, una mentalità disorganizzata ha una manifestazione molto ben visibile nello spazio fisico, che è appunto il disordine.

Facciamo un esempio basato sulla mia vita: mi capita spesso di non sapere dove debba (4) essere riposto un determinato oggetto e, di conseguenza, metterlo in un posto che non è né giusto né sbagliato perché non ho mai determinato quale sia (4) il posto giusto per tale oggetto. Dove va messo questo libro? Dove va messo il tagliere? Dove va messo lo zaino con l'attrezzatura fotografica? E le scarpe da corsa? Sia chiaro, la soluzione non è mai “per terra” oppure “dove capita”. La soluzione è determinare un luogo, come fanno gli adulti e le persone ragionevoli, che si presti (6) ad accoglierle, le scarpe da corsa. Preciso che sto parlando in primo luogo a me stesso; non pensate infatti che mi rivolga a voi (3) in qualità di guru, predicatore dell'ordine, Marie Kondo del nord Italia. Inoltre, mentre vi scrivo, non so dove abbia messo (4) le scarpe da corsa.

In altre parole, l'indecisione che sopraggiunge al momento in cui occorre riporre un oggetto è sia una conseguenza dalla disorganizzazione, sia la causa del disordine, perché quando poi questo comportamento è reiterato e l'oggetto fuori posto (o meglio, senza posto) non è uno ma sono trenta è inevitabile che il caos più totale prenda (2) possesso della nostra casa.

Penso che poi ci sia (3) un secondo elemento importante che contribuisce al disordine, ovvero, banalmente, la pigrizia di riordinare. A volte, pur sapendo dove andrebbe riposto un oggetto, non ho voglia di metterlo a posto. Erika in un episodio di Riflessioni senza trascrizioni ha definito questo fenomeno “micropigrizia”. Vi faccio un esempio perché capiate (5 – fin) che cosa intendo: bevo il mio caffelatte la mattina e lascio la tazza sulla scrivania. Faccio esercizio e lascio il tappetino per terra. Mi alzo e non rifaccio il letto. “Micropigrizia” perché non è la procrastinazione naturale che proviamo di fronte a compiti difficili, come iniziare a scrivere la tesi di laurea, ma una banale mancanza di voglia di fare cose semplici. Devo però ammettere, con enorme orgoglio, che, sebbene stia (5 – con) ancora combattendo con i primi due problemi, sono riuscito a sconfiggere il terzo e sviluppare l'abitudine di rifare il letto tutti i giorni.

Sapete poi cosa c'è? Forse ho una soglia di tolleranza nei confronti del disordine troppo alta. Mi manca un impulso, una sensazione di sufficiente fastidio che mi porti (6) ad agire, che mi spinga (6) a raccogliere gli oggetti sparsi sul divano e metterli al loro posto (o trovargliene uno). Di norma è solamente quando il disordine diventa insostenibile che mi decido ad agire e a riordinare, esasperato dal caos che mi circonda.

Ciononostante, tollerare il disordine non significa che mi piaccia. (2) Nel mio caso anche un livello di disordine medio causa un po' di fastidio e nervosismo.

Chiunque mi conosca (6) da un po' di tempo probabilmente è al corrente di questa mia caratteristica. Quando vivevo con i miei genitori la mia cameretta era il tempio del disordine, con oggetti sparsi dappertutto, letto sfatto, vestiti lasciati a caso in giro. Mia madre ha sempre cercato di trovare un modo per farmi riordinare, un modo che funzionasse (6) e non venisse (6) da me ignorato. Non che fosse (2) facile trovare qualcosa che mi convincesse (6) a cambiare. Le cose sono comunque un po' migliorate con il tempo (anche se sono ancora lontano dall'essere il Marie Kondo del Nord Italia). Non c'è giorno in cui non combatta (6) con le mie vecchie abitudini.

Il disordine non è solo fastidioso da vedere. Causa anche dei problemi pratici ancor più irritanti: non trovare un calzino di quella che in passato era solita essere un coppia, non sapere dove si sia nascosta (4) la maledetta scheda SD della macchina fotografica, non ricordarsi dove cavolo abbia messo (4) (o perso) le chiavi della macchina. Quest'ultimo esempio è molto recente, quindi fa ancora male.

Trovo divertente (per modo di dire) che il mio disordine si estenda (3) anche agli spazi digitali. Penso che il mio desktop attuale sia (3) il più disordinato che esista (6) sulla faccia della terra. Qualcuno di voi ascolta Podcast Italiano da tanto tempo? Per i 10 tra voi, vi ricorderete quanto disordinato e incasinato fosse (4) il mio sito tempo fa e quanto incoerenti tra di loro fossero (4) i nomi che davo agli episodi. Non che adesso sia (2) esattamente un capolavoro, ma un po' meglio almeno sì.

Se estendiamo il discorso dal disordine a quella che ho definito la sua causa, la disorganizzazione, potrei menzionare tutta una serie di altri problemi.

La mia scarsa puntualità è un esempio perfetto. Chiunque abbia avuto (6) a che fare con me sa quanto sia (4) raro che io arrivi (2) puntuale. E questo perché? Perché sono disorganizzato. E perché non trovo le chiavi della macchina, perché sono disordinato (in quanto disorganizzato).

È meglio poi (2) che non vediate l'interno di una mia valigia o di un mio zaino quando devo partire per un viaggio. Sarebbero la valigia o lo zaino più disordinati che abbiate (6) mai visto.

Più volte nella mia vita ho provato ad adottare un sistema di task-managing che mi aiutasse (6) a gestire le cose da fare. Più volte, ammetto, ho fallito. Non so nemmeno io quale sia (5) esattamente la ragione, forse si tratta anche in questo caso di pigrizia. Pigrizia nello scriversi le cose da fare, pigrizia nell'organizzare le proprie attività in progetti, pigrizia nel prendere nota di qualcosa che non voglio dimenticarmi. Più facile fare tutto a caso e improvvisare, vero Davide? Sembra paradossale, ma a volte capita che io sia (2) pigro anche nel prendere il telefono per aprire l'app delle note e scrivermi di comprare la carta igienica. Poi però non sono mai pigro quando si tratta di aprire YouTube o Instagram.

Comunque sia, (6) due cose mi rincuorano: la prima è che so bene di non essere il solo ad avere questo problema, così come non sono l'unico con una memoria non eccezionale a giudicare dai commenti che mi avete lasciato; la seconda è che comunque mi sembra che il problema pian piano migliori (3) con il tempo. Non penso sia (3) possibile sconfiggere definitivamente le proprie cattive abitudini. Siamo esseri umani, deboli e con scarsa forza di volontà (o almeno io lo sono). È però apprezzando i vantaggi che portano con sé le buone abitudini, rendendosi conto di quanto sia (4) bello avere una valigia organizzata, una stanza in ordine, un posto per ogni oggetto, che magari, forse, così mi hanno detto, si può cambiare. Se avete una soluzione per me, una strategia che mi possa aiutare (6), scrivetemi. Voglio migliorare. Non è che mi manchino (2) i buoni propositi.

Queste sono questioni veramente importanti. mia moglie ti odia, perché ascolto Caparezza tutti i giorni. sempre le stesse canzoni, come: una chiave, abiura di me, non me lo posso permettere, mica van gogh, ti fa stare bene, vengo da la luna, e la preferita delle mie figlie: vieni a ballare in Pulia. anche se in questa canzone ballare significa morire. Non sono ancora un membro del tuo Podcast Italiano Club, ma consiglio sempre il tuo podcast agli amici e nel mondo virtuale. imparare l'italiano non mi è utile, non mi serve, e magari è per questo que è bello: non è una ragione pragmatica o elementi estrinseci. secondo me, quando parlo italiano, sembra un sogno, una cosa magica, pura fantasia. mi piace davvero tanto.
