8 films pour améliorer ton français - Français Authentique

Une bonne façon de travailler son français tout en prenant du plaisir, c'est de regarder un bon film. Et on a de la chance, parce qu'en France, des bons films, on en a plein. Je vais t'en présenter huit dans la vidéo d'aujourd'hui.

Il existe déjà une vidéo sur la chaîne You Tube de Français Authentique dans laquelle je te recommandais quelques films. Donc, on te met la vidéo dans le « i » comme info et dans la description en bas, pour que tu puisses aller jeter un œil, puisque c'est encore d'actualité. Mais aujourd'hui, on voulait te proposer d'autres films pour aller encore plus loin.

Pour bien regarder un film en français, il y a plusieurs techniques. Si tu es à l'aise, tu peux regarder le film en français sans sous-titres, sans vraiment technique particulière, juste de façon focalisée et concentrée pour bien comprendre, ou alors, tu peux regarder une première fois le film en français avec des sous-titres dans ta langue et regarder le film une nouvelle fois en français avec les sous-titres en français et peut-être une troisième fois sans sous-titres. Il y a vraiment différentes façons de bien apprendre le français en utilisant des films.

Attention, les sous-titres, ils sont utiles pour t'aider à comprendre 70-80% du contenu du film. Au-delà de cette compréhension, je pense qu'ils deviennent contreproductifs, c'est-à-dire qu'ils te freinent, ils vont te forcer à lire, ils vont te ralentir. Donc, si tu comprends déjà 70-80% d'un contenu, tu peux te passer des sous-titres, à mon sens.

Je l'ai dit et je le répète, la répétition justement est très importante. Donc, essaie de choisir un ou deux films que tu aimes beaucoup, qui te plaisent vraiment, et que tu pourras regarder plusieurs fois. Il vaut mieux regarder trois fois deux films qu'une fois quatre films. C'est vraiment mieux de répéter et de regarder plusieurs fois.

Bien sûr, c'est toujours difficile de recommander des films comme il est difficile de recommander des livres, des séries, parce qu'on a tous des goûts différents. Mais aujourd'hui, on t'a préparé une petite sélection de films qui t'aideront à apprendre le français. L'intérêt des films qu'on a choisis, c'est la linguistique, les différents aspects de langue, bien sûr, mais aussi les aspects culturels. On a envie que tu apprennes sur la France, le français, les Français et la francophonie en général. Donc, allons-y.

Le premier film qu'on te recommande, le premier film français qu'on te recommande, c'est La gloire de mon père. Il s'agit d'une adaptation d'un roman de Marcel Pagnol. Les membres de l'académie connaissent bien Marcel Pagnol, on lui a dédié un module. C'est intéressant parce que c'est un auteur réputé. Donc, regarder un film tiré d'un de ses livres, ça te donne un bon aperçu de la culture française. C'est aussi très intéressant parce que ça se passe dans le Sud de la France et du coup ça t'expose à un certain type d'accent, à un certain type de français et ça te donne de la diversité, ça te permet de sortir du français parlé à Paris par exemple.

Comme c'est une autobiographie, l'auteur raconte son histoire personnelle, eh bien tu apprends plein de choses sur la vie en France, à cette époque, dans les années 1900. Tu verras que c'est un plaisir à regarder, puisque ça se passe en Provence, qui est un coin fantastique du Sud de la France. Donc, c'est notre première recommandation, La gloire de mon père. Et il existe aussi Le château de ma mère, toujours tiré d'un des romans de Marcel Pagnol.

Deuxième film qu'on te recommande, La môme. La môme, ça raconte la vie d'Edith Piaf, célèbre chanteuse française. Il y a aussi un module de l'académie dédié à Edith Piaf. Et ce film, il est vraiment grandiose. Il est intéressant d'un point de vue culturel, puisque tu en apprends sur cette chanteuse très célèbre, mais en plus tu découvres les aspects de sa vie vraiment mouvementée, plein d'aventures, de côtés sombres, de côtés noirs, tu en apprends sur les relations humaines aussi. Donc, c'est vraiment un film qui t'aidera dans différentes directions.

Un autre film qu'on te recommande, c'est La haine. Dans ce film, on suit un trio de jeunes qui vit dans une banlieue, dans des quartiers populaires, en région parisienne. Et ça se passe à un moment d'émeute en banlieue en fait. Il y a une sorte de révolte contre la police et on suit les aventures de trois jeunes de cette cité.

Un autre film très intéressant, Le prénom. Il s'agit d'une conversation qui fait débat au sein d'un groupe d'amis. C'est intéressant car c'est une bonne comédie et il y a une discussion autour d'un repas. C'est un cliché un peu français hein. Les Français aiment manger, aiment prendre des bons repas et donc, tu partages ce repas avec eux.

Il y a plein de dialogues dans ce film, donc c'est un super exercice. Comme c'est tiré d'une pièce de théâtre, eh bien les dialogues fusent et ça te permet d'entendre des discussions entre des vrais Français.

C'est une comédie, je l'ai dit, et finalement, c'est le style de film qui est le plus compliqué à comprendre. Donc, c'est un très bon exercice de compréhension pour toi, puisque dans les comédies, il y a différents types de français, il y a parfois du second degré, c'est-à-dire on dit des choses qu'on ne pense pas directement, on utilise des messages, et l'humour est en général le plus difficile à comprendre. Donc ce film, ça sera un très bon exercice de compréhension pour toi et sera un film qui devrait t'amuser.

Le film suivant, c'est L'auberge espagnole. Ça raconte l'histoire d'un étudiant français qui part étudier en Espagne via le programme Erasmus pour un an. Et donc, on suit ses aventures à l'étranger avec ses points positifs et amusants et ses points négatifs et tous ses problèmes.

C'est super intéressant parce que le langage employé, c'est du langage courant. Tu as plein de discussions entre jeunes, donc tu vas avoir du langage un peu familier, du langage courant, du langage du quotidien qui te sera vraiment utile en tant qu'apprenant.

Et les sujets qui reviennent, ce sont des sujets du quotidien, des sujets de la vie courante, il doit trouver un appart, il a des soucis à régler pour sa vie de tous les jours. Et c'est ce type de vocabulaire qui est vraiment intéressant pour toi, en tant qu'apprenant du français.

Et un point très intéressant aussi du film, c'est que tu as des jeunes de différentes nationalités et chacun peut s'y retrouver un peu. Il y a des Espagnols bien sûr, mais il y a à un moment un Italien qui est dans la colocation, un Allemand. Donc, chaque nationalité peut te permettre, en fonction d'où tu viens, de te retrouver un peu dans ce film.

Film suivant : Persepolis. Nous en avions parlé, puisque ce film est tiré d'une bande dessinée dont on a parlé dans la vidéo qui présentait quelques bandes dessinées françaises qu'on te recommande. Donc, tu peux retrouver le lien dans le « i » comme info ou dans la description de cette vidéo, si tu veux regarder nos conseils en ce qui concerne des BD françaises.

Il s'agit d'une autobiographie d'une personne qui a grandi à Téhéran pendant la révolution islamique. Donc, tu as ce côté culturel qui est très intéressant et tu en apprends beaucoup sur ce contexte historique chargé et parfois très difficile.

Film suivant : Cézanne et moi. Ce film parle des relations entre Cézanne, le célèbre peintre, et Zola, le célèbre écrivain. Donc, ça nous raconte un peu leur histoire, leur amitié, leurs difficultés. Du coup, ça te permet de découvrir plusieurs faces du monde culturel français. Tu en apprendras sur Cézanne et tu pourras renforcer tes connaissances sur l'écrivain Zola dont nous avons parlé aussi dans l'académie, un module complet sur Émile Zola, que j'apprécie beaucoup.

Mais ce film te permet de… au-delà de l'amitié qu'il y avait entre eux et de leur vie, tu vas en apprendre un peu plus sur ces deux artistes de génie, Cézanne et Zola. Ça te donnera également une bonne idée du climat politique et culturel de cette époque. Le XIXe siècle a été un siècle très très important en France. Et ce film te permettra de ressentir un petit peu la vie que pouvaient mener les gens à cette époque.

Et enfin, Astérix et Obélix : Mission Cléopâtre. C'est une adaptation du coup de la fameuse bande dessinée de Goscinny et Uderzo. Et encore une fois, c'est une comédie, donc c'est un bon exercice de compréhension. La comédie, c'est toujours quelque chose qui t'aide à travailler ta compréhension orale.

Tout au long du film, tu as des références un peu historiques que les natifs vont comprendre facilement et qui te permettront de creuser et d'aller un peu plus loin pour mieux comprendre un petit peu la culture française en général. Tu seras, pour ça, obligé de faire des petites recherches pour vraiment comprendre pourquoi ce que les personnages disent est amusant. Nous, en tant que francophones, on comprend parce que c'est des références de notre enfance sur des marques, sur plein de choses que tout le monde connaît, mais pour un non-natif ou pour quelqu'un qui n'est pas français, il y aura des petites recherches à faire pour comprendre toutes les blagues.

Donc voilà, un dernier avertissement ou rappel, ces films, initialement, ils sont prévus pour des Français, pour des francophones, donc forcément, ça va te demander un effort de compréhension qui sera supérieur à ce que tu as l'habitude de faire. Les personnages parlent vite, ils utilisent de l'argot, les blagues font parfois référence à des choses que tu ne connais pas. Donc, c'est un exercice qui peut être assez délicat.
