- ظللت أفكر كثيرا في الأمر ، وحدث صراح بين العاطفة التي تكره سفرك، وبين العقل الذي يرى سفرك لطلب العلم، حتى تصل إلى غايتك، وتبني مستقبلك . والذي جعلني أوافق على سفرك إلى تلك البلاد البعيدة، ما لاحظته من رغبتك في طلب العلم، وحتك لوطنك وأهلك.

يا بني إنك تعيش اليوم، بين قوم غرباء عنك في ثقافتهم، ولهم أخلاق وعادات تختلف عما تربيت عليه خذ من ثقافة أولئك القوم ما فيه خير وفائدة لك، وابتعد عما يخالف ثقافتك، وأخلاق قومك، واجعل العلم قبلتك، والنجاح هدفك
