Pronouns
영어와 마찬가지로 러시아어에도 명사를 대신하는 단어가 있다. 대명사 9가지 중에서 가장 많이 쓰이는 것은 인칭 대명사, 소유 대명사, 의문 대명사다.

First and second person possessive pronouns are more numerous and change endings according to the gender and number.

There are also demonstrative (этот), determinative (весь), indefinite (кое-кто), and negative (никто) pronouns.
In Russian, a very important reflexive personal pronoun sounds like себя. It can be translated into English as self.
Я себя знаю.
Ты себя недооцениваешь.
Посмотри на себя.
러시아 아기들이 가장 먼저 하는 말 중 하나는 강조 대명사 сам이다. 이 단어는 스스로 무언가를 했다는 것을 강조하고 싶을 때 사용된다 (Я сам купил арбуз).
