Story 22. Tabitha's Treasure.

Tabitha was excited.

Her mom had just asked her if she wanted to go on a treasure hunt.

Sure, Tabitha said.

She loved treasure hunts.

So, her mom handed her the first clue.

Look into me and yourself you will see.

Tabitha solved it right away.

That's the mirror, she thought.

She ran to the bathroom.

There she found the second clue taped to the bathroom mirror.

She smiled as she read it.

Piglet is my best friend.

It's Pooh Bear, shouted Tabitha.

She knew Pooh Bear would be holding the third clue.

Yes, she was right.

The third clue read, Brr, it's cold in here.

Tabitha went to the freezer and found the fourth clue taped to a popsicle.

Now the last one.

Hear the bell.

Open the door, and there you'll find treasure galore.

Just then, the doorbell rang.

When Tabitha opened the door, she saw her friend Beth.

My treasure, Tabitha exclaimed cheerfully.
