At a radio station, a person speaks or plays music.
The sound goes out on the air and travels far.
People who have a radio at the other end can hear this sound.
When the internet came out, many thought that people would not use radios anymore.
But that did not happen.
Today, there are still about 2 billion radios in the world.
People still love to listen to the radio.
Radio is like an old friend to me.
