Lien buys food.

This is Lien. She lives in Ardrossan.

On Friday evening, she wants to cook dinner for her neighbours. It is Friday morning. She goes shopping at Asda and the Chinese supermarket for some special ingredients.

She takes the train to Glasgow because there isn't a Chinese supermarket in Ardrossan. She takes her shopping bags. First, she goes to the Chinese supermarket. She buys buns, Chinese tea, fresh ginger, garlic, star anise, and rice.

Next, she goes to Asda. She buys eggs, carrots, apples, and cabbage.

When she has finished shopping, she goes to the train station. She takes the train home to Ardrossan BUT she forgets to buy the sweet for dessert! Lien runs to Asda to buy fruit, cream, and meringue.
