22. Vacanță în România (1)

Revin cu un nou episod după o lungă pauză de vară, în care am încercat să mă relaxez, pentru a reveni apoi cu toate forțele, să creez din nou Episoade pentru acest podcast. I'm back with a new episode after a long summer break where I tried to relax, then come back with full force to create Episodes for this podcast again. Je suis de retour avec un nouvel épisode après une longue pause estivale où j'ai essayé de me détendre, puis de revenir en force pour créer à nouveau des épisodes pour ce podcast.

În episodul anterior am anticipat puțin și vă spuneam că voi călători două săptămâni în România. In the previous episode I anticipated a little and told you that I will travel to Romania for two weeks. Dans l'épisode précédent, j'avais un peu anticipé et je vous avais annoncé que je voyagerais en Roumanie pendant deux semaines. Și așa a fost. And so it was. Et c'était ainsi. Am petrecut două săptămâni de neuitat cu copiii mei în România. I spent two unforgettable weeks with my children in Romania. J'ai passé deux semaines inoubliables avec mes enfants en Roumanie. A fost o vacanță splendidă, o vacanță și pentru copiii mei, pe care probabil nu o vor uita foarte repede. It was a splendid holiday, one for my children too, which they probably won't soon forget. Ce furent des vacances splendides, des vacances aussi pour mes enfants, qu'ils n'oublieront probablement pas de sitôt.

A fost pentru prima dată când am călătorit cu copiii mei în mai multe zone din țară, nu doar în zona în care m-am născut, în nord-vestul României. It was the first time that I traveled with my children to several areas of the country, not just to the area where I was born, in northwest Romania. C'était la première fois que je voyageais avec mes enfants dans plusieurs régions du pays, pas seulement dans la région où je suis née, au nord-ouest de la Roumanie. Planificasem de la început să petrecem câteva zile la mare, apoi alte câteva zile la munte, și restul zilelor în orașul meu natal, în Satu Mare, împreună cu familia, cu rudele mele din România. We had planned from the beginning to spend a few days at the sea, then a few more days in the mountains, and the rest of the days in my hometown, in Satu Mare, with my family, with my relatives in Romania. Nous avions prévu dès le départ de passer quelques jours à la mer, puis encore quelques jours à la montagne, et le reste des jours dans ma ville natale, à Satu Mare, avec ma famille, avec mes proches en Roumanie.

Haideți să începem, să vă povestesc aventura noastră în România. Let's start, let me tell you about our adventure in Romania. Commençons, laissez-moi vous raconter notre aventure en Roumanie. Am luat un zbor direct Helsinki-București. J'ai pris un vol direct d'Helsinki à Bucarest. De obicei noi zburăm la Budapesta, în Ungaria, pentru că este mult mai aproape de nord-vestul României. We usually fly to Budapest, in Hungary, because it is much closer to northwest Romania. Nous volons généralement vers Budapest, en Hongrie, car c'est beaucoup plus proche du nord-ouest de la Roumanie. Însă acum, pentru că doream să ajungem și la mare, am luat un zbor până la București. But now, because we wanted to get to the sea, we took a flight to Bucharest. Mais maintenant, parce que nous voulions aller à la mer, nous avons pris un vol pour Bucarest. De unde apoi cu trenul în circa două ore jumate, trei ore dacă considerăm și călătoria de la aeroport până în Gara de Nord, deci în circa 3 ore am ajuns la mare. From there by train in about two and a half hours, three hours if we also consider the journey from the airport to the North Station, so in about 3 hours we reached the sea. De là en train en environ deux heures et demie, trois heures si l'on considère également le trajet de l'aéroport à la gare du Nord, donc en environ 3 heures nous avons atteint la mer. Am ajuns în Constanța mai întâi și de acolo am luat un taxi până la hotelul nostru din Mamaia. We arrived in Constanta first and from there we took a taxi to our hotel in Mamaia. Nous sommes d'abord arrivés à Constanta et de là nous avons pris un taxi jusqu'à notre hôtel à Mamaia. Chegamos primeiro em Constanta e de lá pegamos um táxi até nosso hotel em Mamaia.

Hotelul nostru era la limita dintre Constanța și Mamaia, chiar pe plajă. Our hotel was on the border between Constanta and Mamaia, right on the beach. Notre hôtel était à la frontière entre Constanța et Mamaia, juste sur la plage. Am optat pentru această opțiune, pentru că am înțeles că partea de sud a stațiunii Mamaia este mai plăcută pentru familiile cu copii, în timp ce partea de nord a stațiunii este puțin mai aglomerată. I opted for this option, because I understood that the southern part of the Mamaia resort is more pleasant for families with children, while the northern part of the resort is a little more crowded. J'ai opté pour cette option, car j'ai compris que la partie sud de la station de Mamaia est plus agréable pour les familles avec enfants, tandis que la partie nord de la station est un peu plus fréquentée. Este prea multă lume ca să ai puțină liniște, și să reușești să petreci o vacanță, știu eu, mai liniștită cu copiii. There are too many people to have a little peace, and to be able to spend a holiday, I know, more peaceful with the children. Il y a trop de monde pour avoir un peu de tranquillité, et pouvoir passer des vacances, je sais, plus tranquilles avec les enfants.

Am stat trei nopți în Mamaia și a fost foarte, foarte plăcut. I stayed three nights in Mamaia and it was very, very pleasant. J'ai passé trois nuits à Mamaia et c'était très, très agréable. La hotel aveam și o piscină unde coboram de câteva ori pe zi. At the hotel we also had a swimming pool where we went down several times a day. A l'hôtel nous avions aussi une piscine où nous descendions plusieurs fois par jour. Marea era lângă noi la o sută de metri, înotam în mare, stăteam la plajă. The sea was next to us a hundred meters away, we were swimming in the sea, we were sitting on the beach. La mer était à côté de nous à une centaine de mètres, nous nageions dans la mer, nous étions assis sur la plage. Iar seara ieșeam în stațiune, pentru a vedea locurile, pentru a vizita puțin zona, și pentru a lua masa de cină. And in the evening we went out to the resort, to see the places, to visit the area a bit, and to have dinner. Et le soir nous sommes sortis à la station, voir les lieux, visiter un peu la région, et dîner.

Din Mamaia a fost foarte ușor să facem câte o excursie zilnică în Constanța. From Mamaia it was very easy to make a daily trip to Constanța. De Mamaia, il était très facile de faire un voyage quotidien à Constanța. De exemplu, într-o zi am fost să vizităm delfinariul și planetariul. For example, one day we went to visit the dolphinarium and the planetarium. Par exemple, un jour nous sommes allés visiter le delphinarium et le planétarium. Iar apoi în altă zi am fost să vizităm și acvariul din Constanța, care este situat chiar pe faleză, lângă vechea clădire a cazinoului din Constanța, care este un landmark, ca să spun așa, care este un obiectiv turistic, ce apare pe multe cărți poștale în multe fotografii sau clipuri publicitare când este promovată Constanța. And then another day we went to visit the aquarium in Constanța, which is located right on the cliff, next to the old casino building in Constanța, which is a landmark, so to speak, which is a tourist attraction, which appears on many books postcards in many photos or advertising clips when Constanța is promoted. Et puis un autre jour, nous sommes allés visiter l'aquarium de Constanța, qui est situé directement sur la falaise, à côté de l'ancien bâtiment du casino de Constanța, qui est un point de repère, pour ainsi dire, qui est une attraction touristique, qui apparaît sur de nombreux livres cartes postales dans de nombreuses photos ou clips publicitaires lors de la promotion de Constanța.

Așadar, am petrecut trei zile foarte frumoase pe malul Mării Negre și trebuie să spun că am fost plăcut impresionat de serviciile de acolo, de mâncare, de atmosferă în general. So, I spent three very nice days on the shores of the Black Sea and I must say that I was pleasantly impressed by the service there, the food, the atmosphere in general. J'ai donc passé trois jours très agréables au bord de la mer Noire et je dois dire que j'ai été agréablement impressionné par le service, la nourriture, l'ambiance en général. Toată șederea în general, a fost o foarte plăcută surpriză. The whole stay in general was a very pleasant surprise. L'ensemble du séjour en général a été une très agréable surprise. Mai ales, pentru că toți cei cărora le-am spus dinainte că vom merge la mare erau puțin sceptici, pentru că este cunoscut că în ultima vreme, în ultimii ani, faima litoralului românesc nu a reușit să se ridice la nivelul la care era cu mulți ani în urmă. Especially, because all those whom I told in advance that we would go to the sea were a little skeptical, because it is known that lately, in recent years, the fame of the Romanian coast has not been able to rise to the level it was with many years ago. Surtout parce que tous ceux à qui j'ai dit à l'avance que nous allions à la mer étaient un peu sceptiques, car on sait que ces derniers temps, ces dernières années, la renommée de la côte roumaine n'a pas pu s'élever au niveau où elle était avec il y a de nombreuses années. Și mulți dintre români, după cum v-am spus și într-un episod anterior despre litoralul românesc, mulți dintre români preferă să-și petreacă vacanțele în Bulgaria sau în Turcia, sau chiar în Grecia, în loc de a vizita litoralul românesc. And many Romanians, as I told you in a previous episode about the Romanian coast, many Romanians prefer to spend their holidays in Bulgaria or Turkey, or even in Greece, instead of visiting the Romanian coast. Et beaucoup de Roumains, comme je vous l'ai dit dans un précédent épisode sur la côte roumaine, beaucoup de Roumains préfèrent passer leurs vacances en Bulgarie ou en Turquie, voire en Grèce, plutôt que de visiter la côte roumaine.

Însă din nou, pentru mine, a fost o surpriză foarte plăcută. But again, for me, it was a very pleasant surprise. Mais encore une fois, pour moi, ce fut une très agréable surprise. Copiilor le-a plăcut foarte mult. The kids really liked it. Costurile au fost mai mult decât acceptabile. The costs were more than acceptable. Les coûts étaient plus qu'acceptables. Am fost plăcut surprins și în legătură cu acest aspect. I was pleasantly surprised about this aspect as well. J'ai également été agréablement surpris par cet aspect. Transportul a funcționat foarte bine. Shipping worked very well. L'expédition a très bien fonctionné. Nu am avut experiențe neplăcute cu taxiurile. I have not had any unpleasant experiences with taxis. Evident, noi utilizam Uber pentru că acum și în România, în anumite orașe se poate utiliza Uber, însă singurul aspect unde poate ar fi – sau nu ”poate” – cu siguranță ar fi de îmbunătățit este experiența călătoriei cu trenul în România. Obviously, we use Uber because now also in Romania, in certain cities Uber can be used, but the only aspect where maybe - or not "maybe" - could definitely be improved is the experience of traveling by train in Romania. Évidemment, nous utilisons Uber car maintenant aussi en Roumanie, dans certaines villes, Uber peut être utilisé, mais le seul aspect où peut-être - ou pas "peut-être" - pourrait certainement être amélioré est l'expérience de voyager en train en Roumanie.

V-am spus că din aeroport am luat trenul până în București, în Gara de Nord și pe urmă din Gara de Nord până în gara Constanța. I told you that from the airport I took the train to Bucharest, to the North Station and then from the North Station to the Constanța station. Je vous ai dit que depuis l'aéroport, j'ai pris le train pour Bucarest, jusqu'à la gare du Nord, puis de la gare du Nord jusqu'à la gare de Constanța. Trenul din aeroport până în Gara de Nord este foarte modern, cu aer condiționat, nu am avut nici o problemă. The train from the airport to the North Station is very modern, with air conditioning, I had no problem. Însă experiența cu trenul din București până la Constanța a fost una destul de – cum să o denumesc eu – poate chiar neplăcută, aș spune, pentru copiii mei, pentru că a fost foarte cald. But the experience with the train from Bucharest to Constanța was quite – how should I call it – maybe even unpleasant, I would say, for my children, because it was very hot. Mais l'expérience avec le train de Bucarest à Constanța a été assez - comment dire - peut-être même désagréable, je dirais, pour mes enfants, car il faisait très chaud. Afară erau vreo treizeci și ceva de grade și aerul condiționat nu funcționa în vagoane. It was thirty or so degrees outside and the air conditioning was not working in the carriages. Il faisait une trentaine de degrés dehors et la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas dans les wagons. Lumea deschidea geamurile, bătea puțin curentul, însă tot nu se răcorea, era foarte cald, cred că am transpirat în acele două ore mai mult decât în toată săptămâna următoare, ca să fiu puțin ironic. People were opening the windows, the air was blowing a little, but it still wasn't cooling, it was very hot, I think I sweated more in those two hours than I did in the whole week, to be a little ironic. Les gens ouvraient les fenêtres, l'air soufflait un peu, mais il ne refroidissait toujours pas, il faisait très chaud, je pense que j'ai transpiré plus pendant ces deux heures que pendant toute la semaine, pour être un peu ironique. Însă am rezista,t am rezistat acele două ore, două ore și ceva cu trenul până în Constanța și de acolo totul a fost perfect. But I resisted, I resisted those two hours, two or so hours by train to Constanța and from there everything was perfect. Mais j'ai résisté, j'ai résisté à ces deux heures, deux heures ou deux de train jusqu'à Constanța et à partir de là tout était parfait. Acest aspect, transportul cu trenul în România, este un subiect care este discutat de românii de rând de 20-30 de ani. This aspect, train transport in Romania, is a topic that has been discussed by ordinary Romanians for 20-30 years. It is one of the things that the government or, as far as I know, the rail companies have failed to improve. Sunt aceleași trenuri vechi, fără condiții minime, ca să spun așa, pentru confort. They are the same old trains, without minimum conditions, so to speak, for comfort. Some of the wagons are newer, but still they are also 10-20 years old, many of them purchased from other countries as used wagons. Este păcat, pentru că ne-ar fi plăcut să mai călătorim cu trenul în România, din București până în Munții Apuseni. It's a shame, because we would have liked to travel by train in Romania, from Bucharest to the Apuseni Mountains. C'est dommage, car nous aurions aimé voyager en train en Roumanie, de Bucarest aux Monts Apuseni. Rezervasem inițial bilete pentru un tren de noapte. I had originally booked tickets for a night train. J'avais initialement réservé des billets pour un train de nuit. Însă, după experiența cu trenul din București până în Constanța, am anulat acele bilete și am preferat să zburăm la întoarcere de la mare din București până la Cluj cu avionul. But, after the experience with the train from Bucharest to Constanța, we canceled those tickets and preferred to fly back from the sea from Bucharest to Cluj by plane. Cependant, après l'expérience avec le train de Bucarest à Constanța, nous avons annulé ces billets et avons préféré prendre l'avion pour revenir de la mer de Bucarest à Cluj. Este păcat, pentru că copiilor le-ar fi plăcut foarte mult să vadă România din tren, o călătorie de 12-15 ore în tren din București până în Apuseni. It's a shame, because the children would have really liked to see Romania by train, a 12-15 hour train journey from Bucharest to Apuseni. C'est dommage, car les enfants auraient bien aimé voir la Roumanie en train, un trajet en train de 12 à 15 heures de Bucarest à Apuseni.
