Seanty: I studied French a little.
Sean T: Usually, for example,
Sean T: So, rather than studying comfortably
SHUNTY: But now that I'm going to France,
SHUNTY: What kind of deadline is because I have to go and write it.
Shanti: I'm going to France in two months.
Shanti: I think I did a little bit of studying at that point.
Shanti: And then I came back to Korea,
Shanti: I took the French part of the graduation certificate.
Shanti: And you're going to study really hard for that test.
Shenti: So surely someone must have something at stake
Shenti: There must be a reward to motivate,
Shenti: It seems that you have to have a deadline to work hard.
Vicky Sam: Then, at this point, I'm really curious about your future goals and dreams.
Vicky Sam: Because this is actually a very distant future.
Vicky Sam: I think the teacher is like this
Vicky Sam: What to do right now, while being faithful to the things in front of my eyes
Vicky Sam: Build your own career,
Vicky Sam: I think you've been doing some kind of self-management.
Vicky Sam: Nevertheless, are there any of these things?
Vicky Sam: I can't wait to see if you have any dreams.
Shanti: Oh, you know me so well. (laughs)
Shunty: These days, if you ask me what your dreams are, what your goals are, etc.
Shanti: One of the answers I give is,
Shanti: "The dream is to live in the present."
Shunti: In these unpredictable times, no one can predict.
Shenti: So if you have a dream, well. Are you going to start a pretty family soon? (laugh)
Shanti: But other than that feeling,
Shenti: In terms of work and career, there is nothing right now.
Sean T: But there is no such thing.
Shenti: I'm just trying to think about those dreams and goals.
SHUNTY: I don't even want to have a headache.
SHUNTY: Because it's just a matter of the future,
Shanti: That's why I want to live while focusing more on the present.
Shenti: Rather, it's a dream.
Vicky Sam: And finally, just in case you're listening
Vicky Sam: What would you say to your students who made it through the SATs this year?
Shanti: Right now, as of the day of this interview, yesterday was the SATs.
Shanti: So, this is a really timely question.
Shanti: Right now, the SATs seem to be my whole life,
Shanti: After 10 years, just 10 years, you realize a lot that it's not everything.
Shanti: So this is not the end, this is the beginning.
Shanti: First of all, I want to make sure that you're well rested and relaxed.
Shanti: You can also try a bunch of different things and see if you can find a
Shanti: That's always what your friends are thinking about.
Shanti: What do I like, what am I good at?
Shanti: I'd have to try a lot of things to find out.
Shanti: Get a part-time job or whatever.
Shanti: And then if you say, uh, this will work if you do this, you can use the
Shanti: Sooner rather than later, in your twenties, you should try to sell yourself on that a little bit more.
Shanti: I think you should create your own brand.
Shanti: Let me put it this way.
Vicky Sam: Sir, thank you so much for your kind words.
Vicky Sam: I said something in the interview that was a little bit on point.
Vicky Sam: There's a lot of that, so it was a great time for me.
Vicky Sam: And that's it for today's podcast.
Vicki Sam: Thank you so much for joining us on the podcast once again.
Shanti: Oh, no, thank you for having me.
Shanti: I hope that helps.
Vicky Sam: It's been a while. Yeah (laughs)
