Republishing your content can be an opportunity to validate an idea - specifically whether your target audience is interested in the specific topics you're creating content about. Often the best product and service ideas are already validated through content. If you republish your content on a larger platform and it gets very little engagement, you know your target audience may not be interested in the topic (or at the least, your angle). This will save you from spending your time, money and effort in the future with creating content or even products your audience doesn't want. Checklist

Every time one of my articles gains traction on a larger website like Huffington Post, I receive an email or two from another publication (usually one I've never heard of before) asking to republish an article from my website.
