2.10 (R) Final Project Prep Assignment: Targeting

Use the “Filtering Your Target Market” Worksheet to determine a set of high-potential targets. A few filters are already provided, but please add your own personal filters to narrow this further as needed. For example, if you are a job seeker who only wants to apply to companies that allow telecommuting, that may be one of your filters. If your goal is more personal than professional, feel free to change the filters to meet your goals. You should use your filters to narrow this list down into a personal database of 5-10 filtered targets. Save your completed copy of this worksheet, as you will need to turn it in as part of a final project at the end of this course.

The purpose of this sales tool is to narrow down the targets that you will be contacting. You may eventually sell to everybody in the world, but you have to start with just a few. Note: We highly recommend that you type your answers in a separate document if you cannot type into the pdf, especially if your handwriting is difficult to read.
