I know some people who've done lots of cool things 私はたくさんのクールなことをした人を知っています

and never cared about saving or investing money. お金を節約したり投資したりすることを決して気にしませんでした。

The first impression I had about them is that they were

reckless and inconsequent; I thought they didn't care about their future. 無謀で結果が出ない;彼らは自分たちの将来を気にしないと思った。

But as I had more opportunities to spend time with old people でも、お年寄りと過ごす機会が増えたので

that financial safety is indeed important but it shouldn't その経済的安全性は確かに重要ですが、そうではありません

prevent you from running after your dreams and enjoying life.

After all, when we all get to the end of the line 結局のところ、私たち全員が行の終わりに到達したとき

we'll have nothing but memories, feelings and close people. 思い出、気持ち、親しい人しかいません。

I now think “been there, done that” is a really cool thing to say. 私は今、「そこにいて、それをやった」というのは本当にクールなことだと思います。
