Part 12
“What happened to her?” I say a little worried.
“She started to lose feeling in her fingers, and then in her hands and then in her arms.
It just kept on getting worse,” she explains.
At that point I take my hands out of my pockets. I still have my gloves on. My hands are always cold.
She looks at my hands and asks. “ Why are you wearing gloves? Why do you still have your coat on, for that matter?”
I tell her, “I am always a little cold, especially my hands. Or, maybe I have the same problem as your sister.”
She smiles and says, “You have touched the treasure, I knew it! There is only one thing to do.”
“What is that?” I ask.
