One day Tom is driving his car when it breaks down. He takes his car to a mechanic but the mechanic tells him he can't fix the car.

Tom looks on the internet for a new car. He looks on Facebook Marketplace and Ebay. He sees three cars that he likes. He sees a red car, a blue car and a silver car. The red car is £3000. It's the most expensive. The blue car is £2500. The silver car is £1100. It's the cheapest.

Tom really likes the red car but he thinks it's too expensive for him. He thinks it's a better idea to buy the silver car.

Tom calls the owner of the silver car. His name is Sam. Tom tells Sam that he would like to buy the car. Tom asks if he can come to see the car. Sam says, “yes, no problem”. Sam asks Tom if he can come and see the car on Wednesday. Tom says that's perfect for him.

On Wednesday Sam and Tom meet. Tom looks at the silver car and he likes it. Sam and Tom negotiate the price of the car. Tom agrees to buy the car for £900.

Tom is happy with his new silver car then he drives home.
