Muy buenas, y bienvenidos de nuevo al podcast de Profedeespañol.com. Yo soy Miguel y hoy tenemos

una invitada excelente que llega desde Turquía, aunque es española. Carla, por favor, preséntate.

Bueno, pues allá vamos. Yo soy Carla García. Mi Instagram es @SpanishTeacherCarla para quien lo

quiera mirar y nada, vivo aquí en Turquía, como bien ha dicho Miguel y pues, vamos, voy tirando por la

vida.

Bueno, pues hoy vamos a hablar obviamente de los trabajos que hemos tenido antes de ser profesores

de español, porque Carla también es entrenadora de baloncesto, igual que yo, y es una cosa que

descubrimos hace poco.

Pues sí, eh.

¿Qué te llevó a eso?

Pues la verdad que fue todo un poco así, aleatorio, porque yo no lo tenía pensado. El deporte me

encanta, todo me gusta mucho, pero yo en realidad hacía atletismo, era como una pequeña atleta. Me

gustaba mucho el salto de longitud, era mi prueba estrella, por decirlo así, y cuando estaba en primero

de la ESO me apunté a un programa. Bueno, me apuntaron a un programa de hacer muchos deportes,

de conocer distintos deportes que por ejemplo, no he vuelto a ver en mi vida algunos de ellos era un

programa que te capacitaba para ser ayudante de entrenadora de cualquier deporte y bueno, era algo

así y un programa muy interesante que duraba unos meses y porque hacía como hacían de atletismo,

me escogieron a mí para hacerlo. Entonces al año siguiente me llamaron de un cole, de un colegio de

primaria y me dijeron bueno, necesitamos ayudantes y me dijeron de baloncesto que a mí me gustaba,

pero claro, ni puta idea, la verdad, de baloncesto. Y empecé dos años con un entrenador que bueno, a

día de hoy sigue siendo mi amigo. Es un hombre genial.

Él me enseñó todo, todo. Me empezó a enseñar desde lo que es como una entrada que es, bueno, pues

encestar, que es lo más básico del baloncesto, a todo. Él me enseñó todo lo que sé ahora mismo y claro,

yo era malísima jugando. Claro, yo no había cogido un balón en mi vida. Y durante dos años estuve tanto

enseñando a otros niños, porque siempre he tenido como esa magia pedagógica, quizás, como

aprendiendo yo también cómo se juega a esto. Entonces yo jugaba con ellos, estaba no en el equipo,

pero entrenaba con ellos. El entrenador me hacía jugar también y fui aprendiendo. Parece que se me dio

bien. Durante dos años estuve solamente aprendiendo. Cobraba, entonces era un trabajo, pero cobraba

y no sé hasta qué punto eso era legal. Yo creo que nada legal. Y bueno, pues después me cogieron para

un club, me... Un director de un club, me vio, el del barrio, y le dijo que... Me dijo que le gustaba

muchísimo cómo entrenaba, cómo trataba a los niños, porque siempre mi parte ha sido más pedagógica

que no técnica, por supuesto.

Y entonces, bueno, me cogió como entrenadora, pero también segunda entrenadora ayudando a otro

chico. A los dos meses, el chico se lesionó el hombro, se partió el hombro por la mitad, entonces no

tenían a otra persona... Ya, pobrecito. No tenían a otra persona y empecé yo como entrenadora. Así de

la nada. Yo no me veía preparada. Tenía como 14 o 15 años. Los niños, bueno, eran bastante pillos,

podemos decir, pero nada, empecé a llevarlo bien, todo el mundo confió en mí y como que me salió solo.

Luego ya me saqué el título de entrenadora oficial, seguía jugando en un equipo, también el del barrio, y

estuve siete, siete años en el equipo del barrio que ya me conocía todo Dios de por ahí. Y ya luego pues

cambié de club. Allí iba todo bien también, en mi ciudad, donde yo vivía. Bueno, yo siempre he estado

entre dos ciudades de Cataluña, de Barcelona, y bueno, ese año fue genial, también: ganamos la liga.

Ole.

Pero bueno, no es lo importante, lo importante es participar.

Sí, sí, eso es lo que dicen los perdedores.

Eso. Pero bueno, que se saborea la victoria. Y luego ya vine a Turquía, entonces bueno, dejé... dejé

esto. He conocido aquí a algunos turcos que me han dicho "Venga, va, ponte con nosotros, empieza..."

Pero no me siento tan cómoda expresándome en turco todavía. Y quizás en inglés tampoco puedo

decir... Yo necesito expresar muy de dentro lo que siento.

Ya, ya. Sí. No, pues guay.

¿Y tú?

Sí, pues mi historia no tiene nada, nada que ver. O sea, yo jugué a baloncesto toda la vida desde, bueno,

toda la vida, desde los, igual, ocho o nueve años y cuando terminé el instituto... Porque yo jugué en mi

colegio, que el colegio era de barrio.

Y de mataos.

Sí. Me cambié a un club que, pues eso, como que me quedó grande. Dije ¡uf! Que aquí hay que venir a

entrenar y todo. Y yo eso, pues, no lo llevaba bien. Pues claro, si no entrenas, no juegas. Entonces... En

fin, la disciplina por aquel entonces no era lo mío. Y dije bueno, pues ya se acabó el baloncesto. Luego

me lesioné. Me dijeron: "Se te acabaron los deportes de balón, así que ve al gimnasio". Y ahí yo dejé los

deportes de equipo, a los 16. Para los 18, necesitaban entrenador de baloncesto en mi colegio y

pensaron en mí pues porque yo fui el que salió.

Sí, sí.

Y dije bueno, pues claro, al lado de mi casa, un trabajillo mientras me saco la carrera... Excelente. Y me

fue superbién. O sea, estuve muy a gusto. Me encontré muy bien con los críos y con los más mayores.

De hecho, creo que tenía dos equipos cada año.

Pasaron tres años y ya me fui. Sí, sí, sí. Y ya me fui a República Checa. Estuve superbién. Para mí lo

mejor eran los cadetes, los más mayores, de 15 años, y lo disfruté un montón. Y ellos también.

Yo entrenaba casi siempre a infantiles. También, bueno, no sé si esta categoría existe en España, pero

en Cataluña existe mini.

Sí, sí, claro.

Es el primer año. Vale, vale, porque como cambia un poco la Federación, por eso pregunto. Sí, sí. Y

bueno, se disfruta muchísimo. Económicamente, pues no está recompensado, por supuesto. Pero

cuando eres un adolescente o eres un chaval de 20 años, creo que vale la pena la experiencia.

Todo te va bien.

Y te enseña a enseñar también.

Eso es.

La experiencia para mí fue muy positiva. Sí, sí, no puedo quejarme. He tenido peores, he tenido peores.

Exactamente. De eso también te quería preguntar. O sea, ¿cuál ha sido tu peor trabajo antes de ser

profesora? Este no lo vamos a contar.

Bueno, la verdad es que he tenido muchos trabajos, he sido... Bueno, incluso he tenido tres o cuatro

trabajos a la vez. El de findes, el de las mañanas, el de las tardes...

La vida.

Mientras me sacaba la carrera en la universidad. Creo que en España funcionamos un poco así, todos.

Más de un trabajo. Y bueno, pues uno, el primero que firmé legal con un contrato, ese creo que fue el

peor, porque claro, yo no tenía experiencia, también seguía entrenando, por cierto, y venía de un

ambiente muy positivo, con un director que me apoyaba, con los padres de los niños... Bueno, no todos,

pero la mayoría me apoyaban y todo muy positivo, a encontrarme con un trabajo que en principio era

muy fácil, que era, bueno, atender llamadas para la gente que quería pedir sushi. Yo atendía las

llamadas, era eso. ¿Y qué quieres? Venga. Muy sencillo, ¿no? Y el trabajo pues se me daba bien porque

tampoco era...

Porque no se te podía dar mal.

Eso es, sí. Y hacía tres horillas al día. Bueno, todo iba bien, pero tuve un jefe muy... Una persona muy

complicada. Bueno, que abusó verbalmente de mí varias veces e hizo comentarios sobre mi cuerpo que

no tocaban, cosas así, y que yo permití en aquel entonces porque yo no sabía poner límites. Yo

acababa, creo que tenía 18 pelaos.

Buah, ya ves.

Ya. Y entonces yo... A mí lo que me daba miedo era perder ese trabajo, que era una mierda, porque

también se cobraba poquísimo, pero yo creo que por debajo de la legalidad y por miedo a perderlo y a

parecer una fracasada porque ya había estado muy ilusionada, mi madre estaba contenta... Oh, mi hija,

por fin su primer trabajo. Bueno, aparte del basket, pues lo dejé pasar y lo dejé pasar un montón de

comentarios terribles hasta que me despidieron. ¿Por qué? Porque no le seguí el rollo al encargado, no

le seguí el rollo... A mí cuando me decía estos comentarios, yo simplemente pasaba, claro. Me

despidieron porque no le gustaba al encargado. Fue despido improcedente. Me pagaron un poquito,

¿no? Pero yo no denuncié, lo dejé ahí y ya está. Se lo conté a mi familia. Me dijo que ni se me ocurriera

una vez más y ya no se me ha ocurrido ni una vez más, claro, y... Bueno, una experiencia de mierda, la

verdad, fue muy dura. Y después de unos años, que es lo más gracioso, quizás, me llamó el jefe de esta

empresa para decirme que si podía denunciar en contra de este hombre porque había acosado

sexualmente a dos mujeres más. A mí, bueno, no llegó tan lejos, podemos decir, pero que se podría

haber denunciado perfectamente y ya está. Me pidió, pues eso, un testimonio, bueno, increíble. No sé

dónde está este señor. No sé nada, pero sí experiencia mala, ¿no?

Excelente ambiente de trabajo.

Sí, sí, sí, exacto. Bueno, no lo ponía al menos en la oferta no lo ponía.

Sí, bueno, solo faltaría. Sueldo competitivo, con las ratas...

Sí, exacto. Bueno, y competitivo cero, ¿eh? También, todo mal, todo mal en este trabajo. Así que ya más

con sushi, no quiero. Me encanta sushi, pero ya ahí no trabajo más.

mierda porque consistía en dar unos flyers... Es que no tengo, no tengo por aquí, pero me acuerdo de

cómo eran esos flyers, feísimos. Y decirle a la gente mientras comía o cenaba los fines de semana en

las terrazas, que si iban al karaoke con el flyer pues tenían descuento en las copas. ¿Qué pasa? Que

nadie va a karaokes y que si tu interrumpes a una familia que está comiendo o cenando con un flyer de

un karaoke, te van a decir "vete a tomar por culo, ¿no ves que ahora no?" Pues es lo que pasaba.

Y aprendiste bastante, supongo también.

Sí, la cuestión es que no tenía opción. O sea, tenía que ir apatrullar la ciudad como... como tocaba.

Sí, molestando a todo mundo. ¿Y cuánto te duró este trabajo?

Un par de meses nada más. O sea, fue antes de antes de verano, creo que de abril a junio, época de

comuniones.

Sí, coincidimos. El mío también duró muy poco.

Nada, eso fue una mierda. Además es que cada vez que me acercaba a alguien, me acercaba ya

sabiendo que le estaba tocando los cojones, que esa persona me iba a decir que no, pero que a lo mejor
