Pranzo a casa di mia nonna Oggi ho pranzato con mia nonna.

Come sempre, ha cucinato un delizioso pasto: patate arrosto, salsicce, una zuppa di piselli e formaggio, fragole fresche ed una buona tazza di caffè, che, almeno in Italia, deve essere sempre presente. Il caffè è stato molto buono, perché mia nonna aveva comprato un'altra marca (era in offerta), la quale si è rivelata migliore di quella che era solita comprare. Abbiamo anche giocato a carte. Anche se lei è di età avanzata, può ancora mettermi in difficoltà di tanto in tanto. Abbiamo giocato a poker, ma, di regola, lei non accetta denaro, e acconsente gentilmente a darmi tutto quello che vince, anche se perdo. Il caffè Il caffè è preso sul serio qui in Italia.

Purtroppo avevano esaurito le carte di credito, quindi posso dire addio al libro, almeno per ora.
