Buon ascolto!

Saverio: No no, niente messa! Ma ti volevo fare vedere queste, vedi?

Licia: Che sono?

Saverio: Sono tombe [2] di persone molto importanti.

Licia: Come?

Licia: Perché guarda in alto?

Saverio: Brava!

Licia: No.

Licia: Come sbagliati?

Saverio: Eh no, è un po' diverso...

Licia: E allora lui è andato in galera?

Saverio: Eh sì, lo hanno trattato male [10].

Licia: No... Poverino...

Licia: No.

Licia: Non lo so.

Licia: Non lo so.

Licia: No, dai babbo, andiamo fuori.

Saverio: Ma è Michelangelo!

Licia: Ma chi è Michelangelo?

Saverio: Va bene, va bene. Si compra un gelatino?

Licia: Sì!

Saverio: Ma hai il raffreddore [14], ti farà male?

Licia: No no, è passato.

Licia: Babbo ma perché siamo venuti in chiesa? Lygia: Father, why did we come to church?

Xavier: Chicca, this is not a normal church, this is Santa Croce [1], it's a very beautiful and important church, that's why we came to see it.

Licia: Ma c’è la messa? Lygia: Aber gibt es eine Messe? Lygia: But is there a mass? Licia: Mais y a-t-il de la masse? Licia: Ama kitle var mı?

Saverio: No no, niente messa! Saverio: Nein, nein, keine Masse! Xavier: No no, no mass! Saverio: Non non, pas de masse! But I wanted to show you these, see? Ale chciałem ci to pokazać, rozumiesz? Ama sana bunları göstermek istedim, anladın mı?

Licia: Che sono? Licia: Was sind sie? Lygia: What are they?

Xavier: They are tombs [2] of very important people.

Licia: Come? Licia: Wie? Licia: How?

Xavier: See, these people lived a long time ago and they did some very important things and then to remember them they put all these monuments. Saverio: Widzisz, ci ludzie żyli dawno temu i dokonali bardzo ważnych rzeczy, więc aby ich upamiętnić, postawiono im te wszystkie pomniki.

Licia: Cosa hanno fatto? Licia: Was haben sie getan? Licia: What did they do? Licia : Qu'est-ce qu'ils ont fait ? Licia: Co oni zrobili?

Xavier: They wrote books, made discoveries, made music ... For example, this was a writer, his name was Vittorio Alfieri [3].

Lycia: It looks like a cake [4]. Licia: Cela ressemble à un gâteau [4]. Licia: Wygląda jak ciasto [4]. Licia: Pastaya benziyor [4].

Saverio: Una torta? Saverio: A cake? Saverio: Pasta mı? Fammi vedere... Show me ... Oh yes, seen from your height it looks like a cake. Laisse-moi voir... Eh, oui, vu de ta taille on dirait un gâteau. Gli diamo un morso? Sollen wir ihm einen Bissen geben? We give him a bite? Allons-nous prendre une bouchée? Możemy go ugryźć? Bir ısırık verelim mi?

Licia: Daglielo te! Licia: Gib es ihm! Lygia: Give it to you! Licia: Donnez-le vous! Licia: Daj mu to! Licia: Onu ona ver!

Saverio: Mmm.. Forse dopo... vedi quel signore? Saverio: Mmm. Vielleicht später... sehen Sie diesen Herrn? Xavier: Mmm .. Maybe later ... see that gentleman? Saverio : Mmm.. Peut-être plus tard... tu vois ce monsieur ? Saverio: Mmm .. Belki daha sonra ... şu beyefendiyi görüyor musun? Ci sta guardando, se ci avviciniamo ci brontola... He's watching us, if we get closer he rumbles ... Patrzy na nas, jeśli się zbliżymy, narzeka... Bize bakıyor, yaklaşırsak homurdanıyor...

Licia: La vuole mangiare lui la torta? Licia: Will er den Kuchen essen? Licia: Do you want to eat the cake? Licia : Il veut manger le gâteau ? Licia: Czy chce zjeść ciasto? Licia: Pastayı yemek istiyor mu?

Saverio: Forse sì, la vuole tutta lui! Saverio: Vielleicht ja, er will alles! Xavier: Maybe yes, he wants it all! Saverio: Peut-être que oui, il veut tout! Saverio: Może tak, chce wszystkiego! Saverio: Belki evet, hepsini istiyor! That monument is there for another very important person, his name was Galileo Galilei [5].

Licia: Oh, welchen Namen hat Vater ihm gegeben? Lygia: Oh what name did Father give him? Licia: Oh, quel nom papa lui a-t-il donné? Licia: Och, jakie imię nadali ojcu? Licia: Ah, babaya ne isim verdiler?

Xavier: Oh yes, it's a bit strange. But if you only look at the name is not bad: "Galileo", listen how it sounds good. Is there any child called that at school?

Licia: Bo... Ma perché lui è importante? Licia: Bo ... Aber warum ist er wichtig? Lygia: Bo ... But why is he important? Licia: Bo ... Mais pourquoi est-il important? Licia: Bo... Ale dlaczego jest ważny? Licia: Bo... Ama o neden önemli? Che ha fatto? Was hat er getan? What did he do?

Xavier: Look, there's his statue there, let's see if you understand it by yourself what he did.

Licia: Perché guarda in alto? Licia: Warum schaut er nach oben? Lygia: Why are you looking up? Licia : Pourquoi tu lèves les yeux ? Licia: Neden yukarı bakıyorsun?

Saverio: Brava! Saverio: Bravo! Saverio: Brava! Saverio: Brava! Saverio: Brava! Guarda in alto, verso il cielo. Schau zum Himmel hinauf. Look up, towards the sky. You know, he did a lot of work: the professor, the engineer, did a lot of experiments, the writer and then he was an astronomer. He studied the sun and the stars, and you know what he discovered one day?

Licia: No. Licia: No. Licia: Hayır.

Xavier: He found out that all the books on astronomy were wrong!

Licia: Come sbagliati? Licia: Wie falsch? Licia: How wrong? Licia: Tu as tort?

Xavier: Yes, because in all the books of Galileo's time it was written that the earth stood still in the center of the universe and all the planets revolved around it.

Licia: Why isn't it? Licia: Neden olmasın?

Saverio: Eh no, è un po' diverso... Saverio: Eh no, it's a bit different ... All the planets revolve around something: the moon revolves around the earth, the earth around the sun, etc. But in Galileo's time there was a great danger to say these things ...

Licia: Quale? Licia: Welche? Lygia: Which one? Licia: Hangisi?

Xavier: To say that the earth was not firm but turned around the sun was forbidden! You went to jail [6] if you said it! Hapse girdik [6] öyle dediysen!

Licia: Babbo mi dai un fazzoletto [7]? Licia: Daddy, kannst du mir ein Taschentuch geben [7]? Lygia: Father give me a handkerchief [7]? Licia : Père Noël, tu me donnes un mouchoir [7] ? Licia: Noel Baba bana bir mendil verir misin [7]?

Saverio: Sì... che, soffia [8] forte! Saverio: Ja... was, blase [8] hart! Xavier: Yes ... that, blowing [8] strong! Saverio : Oui... ça, ça souffle [8] fort !

Lygia: But why did you go to jail? Licia : Mais pourquoi sommes-nous allés en prison ? Licia: Ama neden hapse girdik?

Xavier: To say that the land was still, it was easy, everyone understood it and they were quiet. And if someone said it was not true they arrested him [9] as a revolutionary.

Licia: E allora lui è andato in galera? Licia: Also ging er ins Gefängnis? Lygia: So he went to jail?

Xavier: Oh yes, they treated him badly [10]. Xavier : Oui, ils l'ont maltraité [10]. Xavier: Evet, ona kötü davrandılar [10].

Licia: No... Poverino... Licia: Nein... Armes Ding... Licia: No ... Poor thing ... Licia: Non ... Pauvre chose ...

Xavier: Then you finally know what they told him?

Licia: No. Licia: No. Licia: Hayır.

Xavier: They told him: "Galileo, if you write that it is not true that nothing you have discovered will let you go." Saverio: Ona dediler ki: "Galileo, keşfettiğin hiçbir şeyin doğru olmadığını yazarsan, gitmene izin veririz." Licia: E lui cosa ha fatto? Licia: Und was hat er getan? Licia: And what did he do? Licia: Peki ne yaptı?

Saverio: Secondo te cosa ha fatto? Saverio: Was denkst du, hat er getan? Saverio: In your opinion, what did you do? Saverio : Que pensez-vous qu'il a fait ? Saverio: O que você acha que ele fez? Saverio: Sence ne yaptı?

Licia: Non lo so. Licia: Ich weiß es nicht. Licia: I don't know. Licia: Bilmiyorum.

Xavier: At the end he wrote that all his discoveries were wrong.

Licia: Ma erano vere! Licia: Aber sie waren wahr! Licia: But they were true!

Xavier: Yes, they were true, but he was tired of being in prison. Xavier: Evet, doğruydu ama hapiste olmaktan bıkmıştı. In prigione si sta male. Im Gefängnis ist es schlimm. In prison he is sick. C'est mauvais en prison. Hapishanede kötü. Tu se eri lui cosa facevi? Wenn du er wärst, was hast du getan? If you were him what did you do?

Licia: Non lo so. Licia: Ich weiß es nicht. Licia: I don't know. Licia: Bilmiyorum.

Saverio: Listen, what color are the cherries?

Xavier: Well, you know it, and I too. But imagine that the school book says that cherries are green and that if you say they are red you go to prison. Ama okul kitabında kirazların yeşil olduğunu ve kırmızı olduğunu söylerseniz hapse gireceğinizi söylediğini hayal edin. Tu che fai? Wie geht's? What do you do? Ne yapıyorsun? Glielo dici alla maestra? Sagst du es dem Lehrer? Do you tell her to the teacher? Pouvez-vous la dire au professeur? hocaya söylermisin

Licia: Certo che glielo dico! Licia: Natürlich werde ich es dir sagen! Lygia: Of course I tell him!

Lygia: Yes, because the cherries are red, not green.

Saverio: Davvero? Saverio: Wirklich? Saverio: Really? Saverio: Gerçekten mi?

Lo dici davvero? Meinen Sie das wirklich? Do you really say that? Even if the book says they are green?

Licia: Certo babbo, oh. Licia: Sicher, Dad, oh. Licia: Sure dad, oh. Licia: Tabii baba, oh.

Saverio: Brava! Saverio: Bravo! Saverio: Brava! Saverio: Brava! Sono tanto contento! Ich bin so glücklich! I am so happy! Çok mutluyum! Sei una bambina coraggiosa. Du bist ein tapferes kleines Mädchen. You are a brave child.

Licia: I'm sorry, Father, just go to Coop [11] and you can see that they are red ...

Xavier: Do you hear me a promise [12]? Xavier : Ecoute, tu me fais une promesse [12] ? Saverio: Dinle, bana bir söz veriyor musun [12]?

Licia: Sì. Licia: Ja. Licia: Yes. Licia: Evet.

Xavier: You want to go to university to be a doctor when you grow up, do you?

Licia: The doctor, or the guard [13], or the cashier, or the teacher.

Xavier: Here, then promise me that until you go to university if someone says something wrong, something that is not true, like the cherries are green, you tell them, okay?

Licia: Certo babbo. Licia: Of course dad. Licia: Tabii baba.

Xavier: Then when you go to university we'll talk about this, okay? Saverio : Alors quand tu vas à l'université, on en reparle, d'accord ? Saverio: O zaman üniversiteye gittiğinde bunu tekrar konuşuruz, tamam mı?

Licia: Va bene. Licia: Okay. Licia: Tamam.

Saverio: Brava. Saverio: Brava. Saverio: Brava. Listen, let's go see Michelangelo's tomb, is this way? Dinle, gidip Michelangelo'nun mezarını görelim, bu tarafta mı?

Licia: No, dai babbo, andiamo fuori. Licia: Nein, komm schon Dad, lass uns nach draußen gehen. Lygia: No, come on, let's go out. Licia: Non, viens papa, allons dehors. Licia: Hayır, hadi baba, dışarı çıkalım.

Saverio: Ma è Michelangelo! Saverio: Aber das ist doch Michelangelo! Saverio: But it's Michelangelo! Saverio: Ama bu Michelangelo!

Licia: Ma chi è Michelangelo? Licia: Aber wer ist Michelangelo? Lygia: Who is Michelangelo? Licia: Ama Michelangelo kim?

Saverio: Va bene, va bene. Saverio: Na gut, na gut. Xavier: All right, all right. Saverio: Tamam, tamam. Si compra un gelatino? Kaufst du Eis? Do you buy a gelatine? Achetez-vous une gélatine? Você compra sorvete? dondurma alır mısın

Licia: Sì! Lygia: Yes! Licia: Evet!

Saverio: Ma hai il raffreddore [14], ti farà male? Xavier: But you have a cold [14], will it hurt you? Xavier: Ama üşüttün [14], canını acıtacak mı?

Licia: No no, è passato. Licia: Nein nein, es ist vorbei. Lygia: No, no, it's past. Licia: Nie, nie, to koniec. Licia: Hayır hayır, bitti.
