King of the Cats

This story is about something surprising that a cat says.
A husband and wife have a cat.
One night, the wife is sitting at home.
The husband comes in.
"Wife! Who is Tom Tildrum?" asks the husband.
"Meow," says the cat.
"I don't know," says the wife.
"Why do you ask about Tom Tildrum?" she asks.
"Meow," says the cat.
"Be quiet, cat," says the wife.
"On the road, there is a cat," says the husband.
"The cat wants help," he says.
"Meow," says the cat.
"The cat wants me to find Tom Tildrum," says the husband.
"Meow," says the cat.
"Be quiet, cat," says the wife.
"Why does the cat need to find Tom Tildrum?" asks the wife.
"I need to tell him something," says the husband.
"Meow," says the cat.
"What do you need to tell Tom Tildrum?" asks the wife.
"I need to tell him Tim Toldrum is dead," says the husband.
The cat jumps up and says, "Tim Toldrum is dead!"
The husband and the wife are surprised.
"I'm Tom Tildrum," says the cat.
"Now that Tim Toldrum is dead, I am king of the cats!"
Then the cat runs out the door.
"Our cat is king?" asks the husband.
"His name is not Sammy?" asks the wife.
