馬太福音16

法利賽 人 和 撒 都 該 人來 試探 耶穌 ， 請 他 從 天上 顯個 神蹟 給 他們 看 。 耶穌 回答 說 ： 晚上 天 發紅 ， 你們 就 說 ： 天 必要 晴 。 早晨 天 發紅 ， 又 發黑 ， 你們 就 說 ： 今日 必有 風雨 。 你們 知道 分辨 天上 的 氣色 ， 倒 不能 分辨 這時候 的 神蹟 。 一個 邪惡 淫亂 的 世代 求 神蹟 ， 除了 約 拿 的 神蹟 以外 ， 再 沒有 神蹟 給他 看 。 耶穌 就 離開 他們 去 了 。 門徒 渡 到 那邊 去 ， 忘 了 帶餅 。 耶穌 對 他們 說 ： 你們 要 謹慎 ， 防備 法利賽 人 和 撒 都 該 人 的 酵 。 門徒 彼此 議 論說 ： 這是 因為 我們 沒有 帶餅罷 。 耶穌 看 出來 ， 就 說 ： 你們 這小信 的 人 ， 為 甚麼 因為 沒有 餅 彼此 議論 呢 ？ 你們 還不 明白 麼 ？ 不 記得 那 五個 餅 分給 五千 人 、 又 收拾 了 多少 籃子 的 零碎 麼 ？ 也 不 記得 那 七個 餅 分給 四千人 、 又 收拾 了 多少 筐子 的 零碎 麼 ？ 我 對 你們 說 ： 要 防備 法利賽 人 和 撒 都 該 人 的 酵 ， 這話 不是 指著餅 說 的 ， 你們 怎麼 不 明白 呢 ？ 門徒 這才 曉得 他 說 的 不是 叫 他們 防備 餅的酵 ， 乃是 防備 法利賽 人 和 撒 都 該 人 的 教訓 。 耶穌 到 了 該 撒 利亞 腓立 比 的 境內 ， 就問 門徒 說 ： 人 說 我 （ 有古卷 沒有 我字 ） 人子 是 誰 ？ 他們 說 ： 有人 說 是 施洗 的 約翰 ； 有人 說 是 以 利亞 ； 又 有人 說 是 耶利米 或是 先知 裡的 一位 。 耶穌 說 ： 你們 說 我 是 誰 ？ 西門 彼得 回答 說 ： 你 是 基督 ， 是 永生 神 的 兒子 。 耶穌 對 他 說 ： 西門 巴約 拿 ， 你 是 有 福 的 ！ 因為 這 不是 屬 血肉 的 指示 你 的 ， 乃是 我 在 天上 的 父 指示 的 。 我還 告訴 你 ， 你 是 彼得 ， 我要 把 我 的 教會 建造 在 這 磐石 上 ； 陰間 的 權柄 （ 權柄 ： 原文 是門 ）， 不能 勝過 他 。 我要 把 天國 的 鑰匙 給你 ， 凡 你 在 地上 所 捆綁 的 ， 在 天上 也 要 捆綁 ； 凡 你 在 地上 所 釋放 的 ， 在 天上 也 要 釋放 。 當下 ， 耶穌 囑咐 門徒 ， 不可 對 人 說 他 是 基督 。 從此 ， 耶穌 才 指示 門徒 ， 他 必須 上 耶路撒冷 去 ， 受 長老 、 祭 司長 、 文士 許多 的 苦 ， 並且 被 殺 ， 第三日 復活 。 彼得 就拉著 他 ， 勸 他 說 ： 主阿 ， 萬 不可 如此 ！ 這事 必 不 臨到 你 身上 。 耶穌 轉過 來 ， 對 彼得 說 ： 撒 但 ， 退 我 後邊 去罷 ！ 你 是 絆我腳 的 ； 因為 你 不 體貼 神 的 意思 ， 只 體貼人 的 意思 。 於是 耶穌 對 門徒 說 ： 若 有人 要 跟 從 我 ， 就當 捨己 ， 背起 他 的 十字架 來 跟 從 我 。 因為 ， 凡要 救 自己 生命 （ 生命 ： 或作 靈魂 ； 下同 ） 的 ， 必喪掉 生命 ； 凡為 我 喪掉 生命 的 ， 必得 著 生命 。 人若 賺 得 全世界 ， 賠上 自己 的 生命 ， 有 甚麼 益處 呢 ？ 人 還能 拿 甚麼 換 生命 呢 ？ 人子 要 在 他 父 的 榮耀 裡 ， 同著眾 使者 降臨 ； 那 時候 ， 他 要 照 各人 的 行為 報應 各人 。 我 實在 告訴 你們 ， 站 在 這裡 的 ， 有人 在 沒嘗 死味 以前 必 看見 人 子 降臨 在 他 的 國裡 。

法利賽 人 和 撒 都 該 人來 試探 耶穌 ， 請 他 從 天上 顯個 神蹟 給 他們 看 。 耶穌 回答 說 ： 晚上 天 發紅 ， 你們 就 說 ： 天 必要 晴 。 早晨 天 發紅 ， 又 發黑 ， 你們 就 說 ： 今日 必有 風雨 。 In the morning the sky turns red and black, and you say: There will be wind and rain today. 你們 知道 分辨 天上 的 氣色 ， 倒 不能 分辨 這時候 的 神蹟 。 一個 邪惡 淫亂 的 世代 求 神蹟 ， 除了 約 拿 的 神蹟 以外 ， 再 沒有 神蹟 給他 看 。 A wicked and adulterous generation asks for a sign, and no sign is shown to him except the sign of Jonah. 耶穌 就 離開 他們 去 了 。 Jesus left them. 門徒 渡 到 那邊 去 ， 忘 了 帶餅 。 耶穌 對 他們 說 ： 你們 要 謹慎 ， 防備 法利賽 人 和 撒 都 該 人 的 酵 。 Jesus said to them, Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees. 門徒 彼此 議 論說 ： 這是 因為 我們 沒有 帶餅罷 。 The disciples said to each other: This is because we have not brought bread. 耶穌 看 出來 ， 就 說 ： 你們 這小信 的 人 ， 為 甚麼 因為 沒有 餅 彼此 議論 呢 ？ 你們 還不 明白 麼 ？ Do you still not understand? 不 記得 那 五個 餅 分給 五千 人 、 又 收拾 了 多少 籃子 的 零碎 麼 ？ 也 不 記得 那 七個 餅 分給 四千人 、 又 收拾 了 多少 筐子 的 零碎 麼 ？ Don't you remember the seven loaves distributed to the 4,000 people, and how many baskets of odds and ends were collected? 我 對 你們 說 ： 要 防備 法利賽 人 和 撒 都 該 人 的 酵 ， 這話 不是 指著餅 說 的 ， 你們 怎麼 不 明白 呢 ？ I say to you: Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees; this is not about the bread, why do you not understand? 門徒 這才 曉得 他 說 的 不是 叫 他們 防備 餅的酵 ， 乃是 防備 法利賽 人 和 撒 都 該 人 的 教訓 。 Then the disciples realized that he was not speaking against the leaven of the bread, but against the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees. 耶穌 到 了 該 撒 利亞 腓立 比 的 境內 ， 就問 門徒 說 ： 人 說 我 （ 有古卷 沒有 我字 ） 人子 是 誰 ？ When Jesus arrived in the territory of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, "Who is the Son of Man who say that I (there are scrolls but not the word I)?" 他們 說 ： 有人 說 是 施洗 的 約翰 ； 有人 說 是 以 利亞 ； 又 有人 說 是 耶利米 或是 先知 裡的 一位 。 They said: Some say John the Baptist; some say Elijah; some say Jeremiah or one of the prophets. 耶穌 說 ： 你們 說 我 是 誰 ？ 西門 彼得 回答 說 ： 你 是 基督 ， 是 永生 神 的 兒子 。 耶穌 對 他 說 ： 西門 巴約 拿 ， 你 是 有 福 的 ！ Jesus said to him: Simon Bar-Jona, blessed are you! 因為 這 不是 屬 血肉 的 指示 你 的 ， 乃是 我 在 天上 的 父 指示 的 。 我還 告訴 你 ， 你 是 彼得 ， 我要 把 我 的 教會 建造 在 這 磐石 上 ； 陰間 的 權柄 （ 權柄 ： 原文 是門 ）， 不能 勝過 他 。 我要 把 天國 的 鑰匙 給你 ， 凡 你 在 地上 所 捆綁 的 ， 在 天上 也 要 捆綁 ； 凡 你 在 地上 所 釋放 的 ， 在 天上 也 要 釋放 。 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. 當下 ， 耶穌 囑咐 門徒 ， 不可 對 人 說 他 是 基督 。 從此 ， 耶穌 才 指示 門徒 ， 他 必須 上 耶路撒冷 去 ， 受 長老 、 祭 司長 、 文士 許多 的 苦 ， 並且 被 殺 ， 第三日 復活 。 From then on, Jesus instructed his disciples that he must go up to Jerusalem, suffer many things from the elders, chief priests, and scribes, be killed, and be raised on the third day. 彼得 就拉著 他 ， 勸 他 說 ： 主阿 ， 萬 不可 如此 ！ Peter took him and persuaded him, "Lord, never do this! 這事 必 不 臨到 你 身上 。 耶穌 轉過 來 ， 對 彼得 說 ： 撒 但 ， 退 我 後邊 去罷 ！ Jesus turned around and said to Peter: Get behind me, Satan! 你 是 絆我腳 的 ； 因為 你 不 體貼 神 的 意思 ， 只 體貼人 的 意思 。 You are a stumbling block for me; for you are not mindful of the will of God, but of the will of man. 於是 耶穌 對 門徒 說 ： 若 有人 要 跟 從 我 ， 就當 捨己 ， 背起 他 的 十字架 來 跟 從 我 。 Then Jesus said to his disciples, If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. 因為 ， 凡要 救 自己 生命 （ 生命 ： 或作 靈魂 ； 下同 ） 的 ， 必喪掉 生命 ； 凡為 我 喪掉 生命 的 ， 必得 著 生命 。 人若 賺 得 全世界 ， 賠上 自己 的 生命 ， 有 甚麼 益處 呢 ？ What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his soul? 人 還能 拿 甚麼 換 生命 呢 ？ What else can a man give in exchange for his life? 人子 要 在 他 父 的 榮耀 裡 ， 同著眾 使者 降臨 ； 那 時候 ， 他 要 照 各人 的 行為 報應 各人 。 The Son of Man will come in the glory of his Father, with all his angels; then he will repay each man according to his deeds. 我 實在 告訴 你們 ， 站 在 這裡 的 ， 有人 在 沒嘗 死味 以前 必 看見 人 子 降臨 在 他 的 國裡 。 Truly I tell you, those who stand here will see the Son of Man come into his kingdom before he tastes death.
