耶穌 離開 那裡 ， 來到 自己 的 家鄉 ； 門徒 也 跟 從 他 。 到 了 安息日 ， 他 在 會堂 裡 教訓 人 。 On the Sabbath, he taught in the synagogue. 眾人 聽見 ， 就 甚 希奇 ， 說 ： 這人 從 那裡 有 這些 事 呢 ？ When the people heard it, they were astonished and said, Where does this man have these things? 所 賜給 他 的 是 甚麼 智慧 ？ What wisdom has been given him? 他手 所 做 的 是 何等 的 異能 呢 ？ What miraculous power is his hand doing? 這 不是 那 木匠 麼 ？ Isn't that the carpenter? 不是 馬利亞 的 兒子 雅各 、 約西 、 猶大 、 西門 的 長兄 麼 ？ Is not the eldest brother of the sons of Mary, James, Joseph, Judas, and Simon? 他 妹妹 們 不 也 是 在 我們 這裡麼 ？ Aren't his sisters here with us? 他們 就 厭棄 他 。 They rejected him. （ 厭棄 他 ： 原文 是 因 他 跌倒 ） 耶穌 對 他們 說 ： 大凡 先知 ， 除了 本地 、 親屬 、 本家 之外 ， 沒有 不 被 人 尊敬 的 。 (Rejected him: because he fell) Jesus said to them: There is no prophet who is not respected except his native, his kin, and his own family. 耶穌 就 在 那裡 不得 行 甚麼 異能 ， 不過 按手 在 幾個 病人 身上 ， 治 好 他們 。 他 也 詫異 他們 不 信 ， 就 往 周圍 鄉村 教訓 人去 了 。 He was also surprised that they did not believe, so he went to the surrounding villages to teach people. 耶穌 叫 了 十二個 門徒 來 ， 差遣 他們 兩個 兩個 的 出去 ， 也 賜給 他們 權柄 ， 制伏 污鬼 ； 並且 囑咐 他們 ： 行路 的 時候 不要 帶 食物 和 口袋 ， 腰袋 裡也 不要 帶 錢 ， 除了 柺杖 以外 ， 甚麼 都 不要 帶 ； 只要 穿鞋 ， 也 不要 穿 兩件 掛子 ， 又 對 他們 說 ： 你們 無論 到 何處 ， 進 了 人 的 家 ， 就 住 在 那裡 ， 直到 離開 那 地方 。 Jesus called the twelve disciples, sent them out two by two, and gave them authority over unclean spirits; and commanded them: Take no bread or sacks when you go, and no money in your purse, except Bring nothing but crutches; wear shoes and no hangings, and say to them, Wherever you go, when you enter a man's house, stay there until you leave that place. 何處 的 人 不 接待 你們 ， 不 聽 你們 ， 你們 離開 那裡 的 時候 ， 就 把 腳 上 的 塵土 跺 下去 ， 對 他們 作 見證 。 Wherever they do not receive you or listen to you, shake off the dust from your feet when you leave there, and testify against them. 門徒 就 出去 傳道 ， 叫 人 悔改 ， 又 趕出 許多 的 鬼 ， 用油 抹 了 許多 病人 ， 治 好 他們 。 耶穌 的 名聲 傳揚 出來 。 希律 王 聽見 了 ， 就 說 ： 施洗 的 約翰 從 死裡 復活 了 ， 所以 這些 異能 由 他裡面 發出 來 。 When Herod heard it, he said: John the Baptist has risen from the dead, so these powers flow out of him. 但 別人 說 ： 是 以 利亞 。 But others say: Elijah. 又 有人 說 ： 是 先知 ， 正像 先知 中 的 一位 。 Another said: A prophet, just like one of the prophets. 希律 聽見 卻說 ： 是 我 所 斬 的 約翰 ， 他 復活 了 。 When Herod heard it, he said: It is John, whom I killed, who has risen. 先是 希律 為 他 兄弟 腓力 的 妻子 希羅 底 的 緣故 ， 差人 去 拿 住 約翰 ， 鎖在 監裡 ， 因為 希律 已經 娶 了 那 婦人 。 First, Herod, for the sake of Herodias, the wife of his brother Philip, sent to take John and put him in prison, because Herod had married the woman. 約翰 曾 對 希律 說 ： 你 娶 你 兄弟 的 妻子 是 不合理 的 。 John had said to Herod: It is unreasonable for you to marry your brother's wife. 於是 希羅 底 懷恨 他 ， 想要 殺 他 ， 只是 不能 ； 因為 希律 知道 約翰 是 義人 ， 是 聖人 ， 所以 敬畏 他 ， 保護 他 ， 聽 他 講論 ， 就 多照 著行 （ 有古卷 ： 游移不定 ）， 並且 樂意 聽 他 。 So Herodias hated him, and tried to kill him, but could not; for Herod knew that John was a righteous man and a saint, so he feared him, protected him, and listened to his speech, and did much. , and gladly listened to him. 有 一天 ， 恰巧是 希律 的 生日 ， 希律 擺設 筵席 ， 請 了 大臣 和 千夫 長 ， 並 加利利 作 首領 的 。 One day, which happened to be Herod's birthday, Herod set a banquet and invited the ministers and commanders, and Galilee as the chief. 希羅 底 的 女兒 進來 跳舞 ， 使希律 和 同席 的 人 都 歡喜 。 The daughter of Herodias came in and danced, to the delight of Herod and all those who were at the table. 王 就 對 女子 說 ： 你 隨意 向 我求 甚麼 ， 我 必給 你 ； 又 對 他 起誓 說 ： 隨 你 向 我求 甚麼 ， 就是 我國 的 一半 ， 我 也 必給 你 。 Then the king said to the woman, "Ask me what you want, and I will give it to you; and he swore to him, "Ask me for whatever you want, and I will give you half of the kingdom." 他 就 出去 對 他 母親 說 ： 我 可以 求 甚麼 呢 ？ He went out and said to his mother: What can I ask for? 他 母親 說 ： 施洗約翰 的頭 。 His mother said: The head of John the Baptist. 他 就 急忙 進去 見王 ， 求 他 說 ： 我願王 立時 把 施洗約翰 的頭 放在 盤子 裡給 我 。 王 就 甚 憂愁 ； 但 因 他 所 起 的 誓 ， 又 因同席 的 人 ， 就 不肯 推辭 ， 隨即 差 一個 護衛兵 ， 吩咐 拿 約翰 的 頭來 。 The king was greatly distressed; but because of the oath he had sworn, and because of those who were at the table, he would not refuse, and immediately sent a guard to order to bring John's head. 護衛兵 就 去 ， 在 監裡 斬 了 約翰 ， 把頭 放在 盤子 裡 ， 拿來 給 女子 ， 女子 就給 他 母親 。 約翰 的 門徒 聽見 了 ， 就 來 把 他 的 屍首 領 去 ， 葬 在 墳墓 裡 。 When John's disciples heard it, they came and took his body and buried it in a tomb. 使徒 聚集 到 耶穌 那裡 ， 將 一切 所 做 的 事 、 所傳 的 道 全 告訴 他 。 The apostles gathered to Jesus and told him everything they had done and preached. 他 就 說 ： 你們 來 ， 同 我 暗暗 的 到 曠野 地方 去 歇 一歇 。 Then he said, Come, go with me by yourselves to a deserted place and rest for a while. 這是 因為 來往 的 人 多 ， 他們 連 吃飯 也 沒有 工夫 。 This is because there are so many people coming and going that they don't even have time to eat. 他們 就 坐船 ， 暗暗 的 往 曠野 地方 去 。 So they took a boat and went to a deserted place in secret. 眾人 看見 他們 去 ， 有 許多 認識 他們 的 ， 就 從 各城 步行 ， 一同 跑 到 那裡 ， 比 他們 先 趕到 了 。 When the crowd saw them go, many who knew them walked from the cities, and ran together there, before them. 耶穌 出來 ， 見 有 許多 的 人 ， 就 憐憫 他們 ， 因為 他們 如同 羊 沒有 牧人 一般 ， 於是 開口 教訓 他們 許多 道理 。 天 已經 晚 了 ， 門徒 進 前來 ， 說 ： 這是 野地 ， 天 已經 晚 了 ， 請 叫 眾人 散開 ， 他們 好往 四面 鄉村 裡去 ， 自己 買 甚麼 吃 。 It was getting late, and the disciples came in and said, "This is a wild place, it's getting late, please spread the crowd, so that they can go to the surrounding villages and buy food for themselves." 耶穌 回答 說 ： 你們 給 他們 吃罷 。 Jesus answered, "Give them something to eat. 門徒 說 ： 我們 可以 去 買 二十兩 銀子 的餅 ， 給 他們 吃麼 ？ The disciples said: Can we go and buy twenty taels of bread for them to eat? 耶穌 說 ： 你們 有 多少 餅 ， 可以 去 看看 。 Jesus said: Go and see how many loaves you have. 他們 知道 了 ， 就 說 ： 五個 餅 ， 兩條 魚 。 耶穌 吩咐 他們 ， 叫眾 人 一幫 一幫 的 坐在 青草地 上 。 Jesus commanded them to sit in groups on the green grass. 眾人 就 一排 一排 的 坐下 ， 有 一百 一排 的 ， 有 五十 一排 的 。 The people sat down in rows, with one hundred and one rows and fifty-one rows. 耶穌 拿 著 這 五個 餅 ， 兩條 魚 ， 望 著天 祝福 ， 擘 開餅 ， 遞給 門徒 ， 擺在 眾人 面前 ， 也 把 那 兩條 魚 分給 眾人 。 他們 都 吃 ， 並且 吃飽 了 。 門徒 就 把 碎餅 碎魚 收拾 起來 ， 裝滿 了 十二個 籃子 。 吃餅 的 男人 共有 五千 。 There were five thousand men eating bread. 耶穌 隨即 催 門徒 上船 ， 先渡 到 那邊 伯賽 大去 ， 等 他 叫 眾人 散開 。 Immediately Jesus urged his disciples to get into the boat and cross first to Bethsaida over there, until he sent the crowd away. 他 既 辭別 了 他們 ， 就 往 山上 去 禱告 。 Having said goodbye to them, he went up to the mountain to pray. 到 了 晚上 ， 船 在 海中 ， 耶穌 獨自 在 岸上 ； 看見 門徒 因 風不 順 ， 搖櫓 甚苦 。 At night, the boat was in the sea, and Jesus was alone on the shore; he saw his disciples swaying very hard because of the bad wind. 夜裡 約 有 四 更天 ， 就 在 海面 上 走 ， 往 他們 那裡 去 ， 意思 要 走過 他們 去 。 At about the fourth watch of the night, he was walking on the sea, and went to them, in order to pass them. 但 門徒 看見 他 在 海面 上 走 ， 以為 是 鬼怪 ， 就 喊叫 起來 ； 因為 他們 都 看見 了 他 ， 且 甚 驚慌 。 But when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they thought it was a ghost, and they cried out; for they all saw him, and were very alarmed. 耶穌 連忙 對 他們 說 ： 你們 放心 ！ 是 我 ， 不要 怕 ！ It's me, don't be afraid! 於是 到 他們 那裡 ， 上 了 船 ， 風 就 住 了 ； 他們 心裡 十分 驚奇 。 So they went to them, got into the boat, and the wind stopped; and they were amazed in their hearts. 這是 因為 他們 不 明白 那分餅 的 事 ， 心裡 還是 愚頑 。 This is because they do not understand the matter of the portion of the bread, and they are still foolish in their hearts. 既 渡過 去 ， 來到 革尼撒勒 地方 ， 就 靠 了 岸 ， 一下 船 ， 眾人 認得 是 耶穌 ， 就 跑遍 那 一帶 地方 ， 聽見 他 在 何處 ， 便將 有 病 的 人用 褥子 抬到 那裡 。 When he crossed over and came to the place of Gennesaret, he pulled ashore and got out of the boat, and when the people recognized it was Jesus, they ran all over the place, and when they heard where he was, they carried the sick man there on a mattress. 凡 耶穌 所到 的 地方 ， 或村 中 ， 或 城裡 ， 或 鄉間 ， 他們 都將 病人 放在 街市 上 ， 求 耶穌 只容 他們 摸 他 的 衣裳 繸 子 ； 凡 摸 著 的 人 就 都 好 了 。 Wherever Jesus went, whether in the village, in the city, or in the country, they put the sick in the marketplaces, and asked Jesus to let them only touch the fringes of his clothes; and whoever touched them was healed.
