鄉愁 Nostalgia 乡愁

我 嘅 Mom 十 年 前 成日 睇書 ， 佢 喺 大學 讀 中文 ， 好 鍾意 中國 文學 。 My Mom used to read books all the time 10 years ago. She studied Chinese in college and was very fond of Chinese literature.

讀 完 書 之後 ， 佢 去 咗 外國 公司 返工 ， 同 外國人 結婚 。 After finishing her studies, she went back to work in a foreign company and married a foreigner.

而家 ， 佢 已經 好 少 講 中文 又 好 少 睇 中文書 嘞 。 She is already speaking very little Chinese and reading very little Chinese books.

新年 嗰陣 ， Mom 叫 我 一齊 執屋 。 In the New Year, Mom asked me to come to the house with her. 有 一 個 箱 ， 一路 都 冇 打開 過 。 There is a box that has not been opened all the way. Mom 話 呢 箱 係 書 同 VCD 。 Mom, this box is a book and a VCD.

M om 打開 箱 ， 佢 話 ： 「 呢 隻 vcd 嘅 歌手 係 我 最 鍾意 嘅 。 」 Mom opened the box and said, "The singer on this VCD is my favorite.

「 呢 首 歌 我 好 鍾意 ， 叫 『 春夏秋冬 』 」 "I love this song, "Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter".

「 呢 部 戲 喺 你 家鄉 拍 ， 叫 『 阿飛正傳 』 。 」 "The film was filmed in your hometown and is called 'The Legend of Ah Fei'.

呢 本 書 有 好多 詩 ， 係 一 個 好 叻 嘅 詩人 寫 嘅 。 There are many poems in this book, written by a very good poet. 其中 一 首 叫 「 鄉愁 」 。 One of the songs is called "Nostalgia". MOM 讀 首 詩 出嚟 。 MOM read the first poem to come out.

聽 完 之後 ， 我 諗 起 我 家鄉 After listening to it, I thought of my hometown

十 年 前 ， 鄉愁 係 呂宋島 ， 我 喺 呢度 ， 屋企 喺 嗰度 。 Ten years ago, nostalgia was Luzon Island, and I was there.

嚟 香港 之後 ， 鄉愁 係 Jolibee ， 我 喺 呢度 ， 朋友 喺 嗰度 。 After coming to Hong Kong, my nostalgia is Jolibee, where I am and where my friends are.

而家 呢 ， 鄉愁 係 有 好多 細路仔 笑聲 嘅 屋 ， 我 喺 呢度 ， 笑聲 喺 嗰度 。 And at home, nostalgia is the house where there are many laughter from the children.

我 好 鐘意 呢 首 詩 ， 呢 本 書 。 I like this poem and this book very much.

Mom 話 ： 「 送 俾 你 吖 ， 其他 嗰啲 幫 我 放返上 書架 吖 ！ 」 Mom said, "Give it to you, and put the others on the shelf for me!

喺 呢 本 書 我 揾 到 我 嘅 根 ， 唔 知 Mom 揾 唔 揾 到 呢 ？ I'm trying to find my roots in this book, but I don't know if Mom can find them.
