Explore Our Newest Languages on LingQ
In this post, we’ll share some interesting tidbits on the languages that we’ve added to our platform recently as well as language-specific content recommendations. However, keep in mind that each language on LingQ also comes with a playlist of 60 Mini-Stories.
Mini-Stories are especially valuable because they’re filled with repetitive sentence structures and essential vocabulary, designed to guide you towards an intermediate level in your target language. Once at the intermediate level, the variety of content you’re able to tackle as a language learner is much greater.
LingQ is designed to help language learners study more immersively through reading and listening, regardless of their level.

With around 2.5 million speakers, Slovenian is considered one of the most archaic European languages. What does this mean? Well, Slovenian is one of the few modern languages in the world that boasts a “dual form,” a means of expressing plurality exclusively for two objects. As a South Slavic language, it shares similarities with Serbian and Croatian.
