So tell us quickly before we dive into the questions about your trip so far. What are you learning?
So, I'm in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. Brazil, as you know, has been hit hardest by the outbreak.
But when you walk around Rio, you don't get a sense of that.
There's no spraying going on, there are no signs, no public education.
But when you talk to pregnant women, it's a different story.
The women I've spoken to are very concerned about getting infected while they're pregnant.
A pregnant woman I spoke with yesterday, was bitten in September.
It was before the baby could get infected
and do possible damage to a developing baby's brain.
And yet she's concerned.
She's spending a large percentage of her income on mosquito repellent
and measures around the house that will limit the chance that she'll get bitten by a mosquito.
Until her baby is born in June, she's not going to sleep very well.
