Gabby: Hey Lindsay. How's it going?

Lindsay: Hey Gabby. What's, what's going on?

Gabby: Yeah.

Gabby: Yeah.

Lindsay: …than casual. Lindsay：……而不是隨便。

Gabby: Yeah.

Lindsay: Yeah.

Gabby: And (I mean) the word is commonly used (um), but yeah, it's just like a special (um), high class… 蓋比：（我的意思是）這個詞很常用（嗯），但是，是的，它就像一個特殊的（嗯），高級......

Lindsay: Expensive

Gabby: Expensive. Yeah.

Cool.

Lindsay: Fancy okay. And the other one was ‘watch out.' 另一個是“小心”。 Gabby: Ooh, ‘watch out'!

Lindsay: Watch out! Be careful!

Gabby: But you can use ‘watch out' in another way, (like) ‘watch out' for mistletoe. 蓋比：但是你可以用另一種方式使用“小心”，（例如）“小心”槲寄生。 I think that's the way we used it or (you know) maybe ‘watch out' for Christmas sales. 我認為這就是我們使用它的方式，或者（你知道）也許“留意”聖誕節銷售。

Lindsay: Right. Watch out. Keep an eye out. 請留意。

Gabby: Yeah.

Lindsay: Be aware of. 林賽：注意一下。

Lindsay: Well we said – we used the word ‘gathering.' Lindsay：我們說過－我們使用了「聚集」這個字。 Gabby: Yeah, ‘gathering' can be another word for a party. Gabby : Ouais, "rassemblement" peut être un autre mot pour une fête. 蓋比：是的，「聚會」可以是聚會的另一種說法。

Lindsay: Yep. So when we ‘gather' we come together. Ainsi, lorsque nous nous « réunissons », nous nous réunissons. 因此，當我們「聚集」時，我們就聚集在一起。 We're at a ‘gathering.' 我們正在參加一個「聚會」。 Gabby: Do you think ‘gathering' has the meaning that it's (like) a little bit (um) more easygoing. Gabby：你認為「聚集」有沒有（好像）有點（嗯）比較隨和的意思。 (Like) you're probably not gonna be (like) listening to club music and dancing all over the place. (Comme) vous n'allez probablement pas (comme) écouter de la musique de club et danser partout. Lindsay: It probably wouldn't be a club scene, a gathering. Lindsay：這可能不會是俱樂部場景，聚會。

Gabby: No. (Like) I'm having a little gathering at my house. (Como) Estou a fazer uma pequena reunião em minha casa. （例如）我要在家裡舉行一個小型聚會。

Lindsay: Yeah.

It sounds a little bit intimate. 聽起來有點親密。

Gabby: Okay.

Lindsay: Yeah.

I would say that rather than a huge party… Gabby: Right. Eu diria que em vez de uma grande festa... Gabby: Exato. 我想說的是，而不是一個盛大的聚會… 加比：是的。

Lindsay: …a small gathering.

Gabby: Right.

Okay.

Cool.

And then our last word to share with you is ‘heels.' 我們要與您分享的最後一個詞是「高跟鞋」。 So this is just short for high heels, right? 所以這只是高跟鞋的簡稱，對吧？

Lindsay: Yeah.

Gabby: Just (um) the shoes that women wear, make us look taller. 蓋比：只是（嗯）女人穿的鞋子讓我們看起來更高。

Lindsay: Right. Personally, I don't wear heels because I hate the way they feel on my feet. Personnellement, je ne porte pas de talons parce que je déteste la façon dont ils se sentent sur mes pieds. Pessoalmente, não uso saltos altos porque detesto a sensação que têm nos meus pés. 就我個人而言，我不穿高跟鞋，因為我討厭它們穿在我腳上的感覺。

Gabby: Yeah.

Lindsay: They're so painful. 林賽：他們太痛苦了。

Gabby: Well, but for fancy events… Gabby : Eh bien, mais pour des événements fantaisistes… 蓋比：嗯，但是對於花俏的活動…

Lindsay: Yes.

Gabby: …sometimes it's nice.

Lindsay: You (like) have to wear heels.

Gabby: Totally. Cool.

So let's just say the words together. 那我們就一起來說說這些話吧。 So repeat after us. (Um) Lindsay what's the first word?

Lindsay: Okay, so the first one is ‘fancy.' Gabby: ‘Watch out for.'

Lindsay: ‘Gathering.'

Gabby: ‘Heels.'

Lindsay: Got it.
