Paula: Hey, why didn't you answer any of my calls? Mike: I was in a meeting, I just couldn't talk. Sorry!

Paula: I see… I noticed you got home pretty late.

Mike: Oh really?! I thought you were asleep when I got here.

Paula: No, I was awake because I was really worried.

So, tell me, where did you go after the meeting?

Mike: Well, me and the guys were starving so we

decided to get something to eat.

Paula: And why didn't you call me while you were eating?
