Rose Reilly

Rose Reilly was born in East Ayrshire. She started playing football when she was 6. There was no football team for girls. She played with the boys! She cut her hair. She changed her name from Rose to Ross. Ross was a boy's name.

When she was a teenager, she wanted to play football as her job. But only men played football as a job in Scotland.

Rose went to Italy. In Italy, women played football. Rose was very good at football in Italy. She won the Women's World Cup! Now, Rose can play football in Scotland! In Scotland, women can now play professional football.
