卢 瞎子 原名 叫 什么 ，大家 都 不 记得 了 。 所有 的 人 都 称 他 为 卢 瞎子 ，连 刘 所长 也 如此 称呼 他 。 他 戴 一副 深度 近视 眼睛 ，镜片 后的 眼睛 眯成 一条 缝 ，看去 就 像 瞎子 一样 。 他 的 绰号 大概 就是 由此而来 。 卢 瞎子 个子 瘦小 ，穿 一件 酱色 的 高级 毛料 服 ，外面 罩 一件 粗布 中山装 。 光看 他 那件 罩衣 ，他 是 个 穷光蛋 ，但 实际上 他 是 在 长沙 繁华 的 商业区 八角亭 有 地皮 、有 一幢 三层楼 的 大房子 、家里 有 很多 金条 、并 有 若干 制造 鞋子 的 机器 的 “资本家 ”。 据 罗钢 说 卢 瞎子 是 看守所 的 常客 ，已经 被 关押 过 很多 次 ，所以 把 看守所 当成 是 临时 旅馆 的 扒手 不少 都 认识 他 。

卢 瞎子 告诉 我 ，1950 年 他 18 岁 从 高中 毕业 就 开始 做 各种 小 生意 。 最早 是 卖 “扯 麻糖 ”，这 是 种 掺 有 芝麻 的 粘糖 。 小孩 买 这种 糖时 ， 由卢 瞎子 从 一大堆 粘糖 中 扯 出 一个头 交给 小孩 ， 小孩 用力 一扯 ， 扯 得 多少 就 得 多少 ， 价钱 是 固定 的 。 很多 小孩 被 这种 有 游戏 和 赌博 味道 的 生意 所 吸引 ，使 他 赚 了 一些 钱 。 他 还 卖 过 一种 小吃 拼盘 。 顾客 全是 小学生 。 他 用 一个 分为 十几个 格子 的大 木盆 装着 十几种 小吃 ，有 腌 姜 、果脯 、甜 紫菜 、山楂片 等等 ，五分 钱 可以 买 一小包 ，其中 每包 食品 都是 一点 。 他 还 做 过 一种 叫做 “西洋镜 ”的 生意 。 那 是 一种 简单 的 幻灯片 ，他 从 上海 买来 的 。 其中 有 世界各地 名胜 的 照片 ，也 有 半裸 的 西洋 女人 照片 。 他 的 西洋镜 是 一个 手推车 上 装 的 方 盒子 ，盒子 上 有 供 一人 观看 的 镜片 ，从 镜片 可以 看到 盒子 内 的 幻灯片 。 盒子 用 黑布 盖 着 ，盒子 上 是 广告 ，写 着 “世界 名胜 ，西洋 美女 ，五分 钱 游遍 世界 名城 ，欣赏 摩登 女郎 ”。

好景 不长 ， 1956 年 公私合营 运动 来 了 ，所有 资本家 在 共产党 1953 年 发动 的 “三反五反” 运动 中 早已 大伤 元气 ，共产党 在 公私合营 运动 中 稍 施 压力 ，大多数 私人 资本家 就 把 自己 的 企业 自动 交给 了 共产党 。 可是 卢 瞎子 是 坚决 抗拒 公私合营 的 人 。 他 一直 拒 不 把 他 的 营业 大楼 交给 国家 ，并 一口咬定 “共产党 的 政策 是 自愿 互利 ，我 就是 不 自愿 ，也 不要 你 的 利 ！ ”上海 味精厂 已经 公私合营 ，共产党 接管 了 工厂 ，应允 给 原来 的 老板 象征性 的 固定 股息 。 合营 过程 中 ，原来 的 老板 给 卢 瞎子 留 了 个 月薪 40 元 的 职位 ，让 他 去 上海 味精厂 。 卢 瞎子 一口 拒绝 。 他 买 了 几台 制鞋 机器 ，就 在 自己 的 营业所 内 生产 鞋子 ，一楼 的 店面 仍 用作 买卖 。 共产党 对卢 瞎子 极为 恼火 ， 动员 他 雇佣 的 工人 与 他 斗争 ， 要求 缩短 工时 ， 增加 工资 和 劳保 福利 ， 并 指责 他 剥削 工人 。 卢 瞎子 决定 解雇 工人 ，自己 和 妻子 、亲戚 来 掌管 机器 。 共产党 马上 通过 工商联 出面 干涉 ，不 允许 解雇 工人 。 卢 瞎子 决定 到 法院 告状 。 他 以 50 年代 他 能 找到 的 所有 共产党 的 法律 文件 为 根据 ，为 自己 的 解雇 权 辩护 。 共产党 的 法院 自然 偏袒 工人 ，卢 瞎子 被 法院 罚款 ，并 被 指责 为 抗拒 社会主义 改造 的 反动 资本家 。 卢 瞎子 还 不 甘心 ，他 把 所有 雇工 的 业务 停掉 ，只 留 两台 机器 让 他 太太 照管 。 他 自己 又 到 湖南省 高级法院 上诉 ，法院 根本 不 理睬 他 。 他 又 找 省 人民政府 ，结果 反而 被 接待 他 的 官僚 教训 了 一顿 ，要 他 不要 抗拒 社会主义 改造 。 他 根本 不 听 这 一套 政治 宣传 ，总是 重复 他 那 几句话 ：“政府 司法机关 以 法律 为 准绳 以 事实 为 根据 ，这 不是 你们 共产党 总理 在 政府 工作 报告 中 说 的 吗 ？ ”最后 卢 瞎子 干脆 被 机关 传达室 拒于 门外 ，他 根本 就 见 不到 法院 和 省政府 的 官员 了 。

在 多次 找 官员 的 过程 中 ，卢 瞎子 受尽 了 气 ，逐渐 发现 像 他 这种 平民 老百姓 ，如果 穿着 呢料 衣服 ，政府 机关 的 传达 对 他 就 采取 歧视 态度 。 因为 在 当时 的 社会 中 ，穿着 笔挺 是 共产党 高干 的 特权 ，平民 老百姓 穿 得 太 阔绰 ，马上 被 认为 是 资产阶级 和 剥削者 。 而 共产党 的 高干 穿 得 阔绰 却 会 引来 尊敬 和 羡慕 。 卢 瞎子 悟出 这个 道理 后 ，就 总是 在 他 的 呢料 衣服 外面 罩 一件 粗布 旧衣服 。 这 果然 大大 增加 了 接近 高干 的 方便 。 他 那些 日子 到处 打听 市长 、市委书记 之类 大人物 的 去向 ，一 听说 他们 去 了 某 公共场所 ，他 马上 跟 去 ，试图 将 他的 申述书 递给 他们 。 看 他 穿着 朴素 ，市长 对 他 态度 还 不错 ，接下来 他 的 申述 ，说 回去 好好 研究 。

不久 研究 的 结果 回来 了 。 卢 瞎子 在 1958 年 反 右派 运动 的 后期 被 划 为 “反 社会主义 改造 的 坏分子 ”，成 了 专政 对象 。 街道 派出所 对 他 监督 改造 ，他 连 完全 的 人身自由 都 没有 了 。 政府 人员 强行 占据 了 他 的 营业 大楼 ，宣布 征用 一 二 楼 。

1964 年 ，共产党 推行 城市 私房 改造 政策 ，要求 把 城市 里 的 所有 私人 房屋 改造 为 国家 所有 。 在 这个 运动 中 ，卢 瞎子 的 商业 楼房 和 他 的 私人 住宅 被 正式 充公 。 他 反过来 要 向 政府 交 房租 住 他 自己的 房子 。 卢 瞎子 上 北京 告状 ， 结果 被 公安局 押回 长沙 ， 作为 不服 管制 的 坏分子 在 看守所 关 了 一年 ，1965 年 被 释放 。 文化 革命 中 卢 瞎子 被 抄 了 家 ，家里 的 金条 被 红卫兵 抄走 ，人 也 被 赶 到 大街 上 ，他 又 去 告状 ，结果 又 进 了 左家塘 看守所 。

他 相信 自己 没 犯法 ，不时 背诵 1954 年 宪法 中 关于 保护 公民 财产 的 条款 。 他 是 九号 中 最 心安理得 地 等待 被 释放 的 人 。 卢 瞎子 对 共产党 有 很多 批评 ，一 讲 起 共产党 对 资产阶级 的 歧视 和 共产党 在 商业 和 经济 活动 中的 垄断 和 抢劫 ，他 就 一肚子气 。 “他们 剥削 工人 是 好 的 ，叫做 作 贡献 ，是 无产阶级 革命 事业 。 要是 私人 雇 了 工人 ，即使 给 的 工资 高得 多 ，也 是 资产阶级 的 、反动 的 。 三杆 枪 比 着 我 ，我 也 不会 承认 这种 共产党 逻辑 是 真理 。 同样 的 生意 ，你 做 叫做 投机倒把 ，不法 奸商 ，他 做 就 叫做 社会主义 ，天经地义 ！ ”卢 瞎子 举 外贸 和 粮食 买卖 做 例子 ，“你 看 政府 做 外贸 低价 进 ，高价 出 ，买空 卖空 ，一 转手 赚 一倍 甚至 十几倍 ，既 合法 又 合理 ，还是 社会主义 ，但是 任何 私人 做 同样 的 事 ，哪怕 赚 得 再 少 ，也 叫 投机倒把 ，资本主义 ！ ”有次 卢 瞎子 与 我 讲 起 公私合营 的 工厂 里 的 管理 ，愤愤 地 说 ：“共产党 在 工厂 里 一年四季 是 运动 ，年初 时 开门红 运动 ，年中 是 月月红 运动 ，年底 是 大战 四季 红 到底 运动 ，所有 运动 都 是 要 工人 多 做事 少 拿钱 ，这 可是 比 资本家 厉害 得 多 的 剥削 ，但 只要 是 共产党 搞 的 ，就 叫做 为 社会主义 作 贡献 。 如果 私人 资本家 这么 做 ，早就 被 打成 不法 资本家 了 ！ ”卢 瞎子 对 技术 和 知识 的 钻研 劲头 使 我 赞佩 不已 。 我 从来 没有 看过 任何人 像 卢 瞎子 那样 对 技术 和 知识 如此 敏感 。 他 对 各种 机器 的 原理 、 结构 和 技术 的 细节 有 极大 的 兴趣 ， 他 与 懂 各种 技术 的 不同 人 可以 讨论 技术细节 连续 几小时 。 对 法律 和 各种 工艺 他 都 有 极大 的 兴趣 ，喜欢 刨根问底 。 他 甚至 对 马克思 的 资本论 有 兴趣 。 我 弄 到 马克思 《 资本论 》 的 一至三卷 ，他 翻 了 翻 ，挑出 第三卷 一口气 读完 ，因为 这 一卷 中 有 很多 劳资 法律 纠纷 的 案例 。 从卢 瞎子 身上 我 发现 私人 企业家 原来 是 社会 上 最 勤奋 、 最 聪明 、 靠 技术 和 知识 为 社会 作出贡献 的 人 。 卢 瞎子 这个 活生生 的 资产阶级 分子 使 我 懂得 了 共产党 词典 中 资产阶级 概念 的 虚假性 。

直到 我 判刑 时 ，卢 瞎子 还 在 九号 ，我 离开 九号 时 忍不住 对 他 的 那种 心安理得 地 等待 被 释放 的 处境 产生 了 一丝 嫉妒 。 离开 九号 时 ，我 每次 回想到 他 都 使 我 体会到 ，是 他 的 命运 告诉 我 ，共产党人 对 私人 企业家 的 迫害 和 歧视 及 对 财产 的 侵犯 是 何等 的 残暴 无理 。 在 卢 瞎子 看来 ，他 自己 对 自己 财产 的 权利 是 如此 的 自然 、合理 而 合法 。 而 共产党 的 理想 和 整个 意识形态 却 与 如此 自然 合理 的 事 不相容 。 原来 在 我 心目中 神圣 的 共产主义 理念 被 卢 瞎子 的 故事 变成 与 基本 人性 和 正义 不相容 的 东西 。 好多年 后 ，我 还 会 想起 卢 瞎子 那 握有 公理 和 正义 的 自信心 ，我 变得 越来越 喜爱 他 这份 自信 ，虽然 我 后来 再 没见 过 他 ，也 不 知道 他 后来 的 命运 。
