The white door opened and Doctor Winters slowly came out.
He had been staring at Mel Hastings for a long time.
It was as if I was trying to remember the name of a newspaper reporter.
"I have a story.
To the office, "he finally said.
Mel understood what it meant as if he was paralyzed, and opened his eyes and looked back at the other person.
しんだ||
"I'm dead."
Doctor Winters nodded slowly.
It seemed astonishing and confusing when Mel found out the facts.
"Let's talk in the office," he repeated.
Mel was watching behind the doctor.
I felt like I couldn't help it.
Doctor Winters said everything he had to say.
Beyond the corridor, the doctor looked back and patiently stopped.
I know why it didn't follow, but as if I had decided to wait until it came.
The reporter fluttered and stood up from his chair.
I didn't feel any strength in my legs.
As we approached, the appearance of Doctor Winters became bigger and bigger.
The morning hustle and bustle of the hospital echoed deafeningly.
The office door was closed and blocked the noise.
"My wife has passed away." Doctor Winters sat behind the desk, combining and releasing his hands.
かれ||||||み|
He didn't look at Mel.
"We did as much as we could, Mista Hastings.
The injury to the accident was relatively light-- "he hesitated and continued.
"In the normal case, I should have been able to treat the injury without any problems."
"What do you mean?
What is the normal case?
」
Doctor Winters turned his face away from Mel's line of sight to avoid intolerable pain.
He grabbed his forehead and eyes as if he was tired, held it down for a moment, and then began to speak.
He looked at Mel again.
"The woman you brought last night-your wife-is a completely different structure within your body.
It cannot even identify the internal organs.
It's like the body of a different creature.
She is--in short, not human, Mista Hastings. "
Mel stared at the other person and tried to grasp the meaning of the word.
いみ||||
I just didn't understand the meaning.
He gave a short, hysterical laugh, like a roar.
"What are you talking about, sir?

Didn't you touch it?
」
Doctor Winters nodded.
"Yesterday night, I always thought so.

When I first saw his wife's condition, I wondered if I had something wrong with my head.
I called six other doctors and asked them to see what I saw.

Everyone was taken aback by seeing it.
Internal organs that are not found in the human body.
A chemical reaction not found in any living organism-- "
The doctor's words struck him like a rough sea.
It submerges him in the water, blocks his breathing, and tries to hold his breath.
"Show me." Mel's voice was like a distant, hollow throat clear.
"You are crazy.

You're trying to hide your mistakes, aren't you?

He killed Alice in a simple operation and is trying to escape responsibility with a silly story that no one believes!
」
"Let's see." Dr. Winters said, slowly standing up.
|||||および||||
"That's why I called you here, Mista Hastings."
