안녕하세요? 허 쌤입니다
Hello? I'm 허 쌤.
오늘은 미용실에서 쓰는 한국어 표현에 대해서 이야기를 해보려고 합니다
Today I'd like to talk about Korean expressions used in hair salons
제가 얼마 전에 미용실에 갔는데
I went to a beauty salon the other day,
미용사 선생님께서 제가 한국어 선생님 이라고 하니까
I said that I am a Korean language teacher, so the hairdresser asked me this.
외국 학생들한테 미용실에서 어떻게 말하는지 안 가르치냐고 저한테 물어봐서
Don't you teach foreign students how to speak in the beauty salon?
생각해보니까
I think about that...
교과서에 미용실에서 어떻게 말해야 하는지는 잘 없는 것 같아요
I don't think I've seen any textbooks that teach Korean expressions in hair salons in detail.
그래서 미용실에 가서 한국 사람들은 어떻게 말을 하는지
So how do Korean people talk at hair salon
사실 그냥 이렇게 사진을 보여주고 "이렇게 해주세요." 하면 좋지만
In fact, just show a picture like this and say "Please do this.". that's enough.
우리 얼굴이 그렇지 못하니까
But our face is not like that
자기가 하고 싶은 스타일을 정확하게 말할 수 있으면 좋겠죠
It'll be better to say exactly what you want to do.
그래서 오늘 한번 연습을 해보려고 합니다
So we're going to practice today
미용실에 가는 가장 많은 이유 중의 하나는
One of the most reasons for going to a hair salon
일단 머리를 자르는 거겠죠
to cut my hair
우리가 이거를 '머리카락' 이라고 배웠지만
We learned this as 'hair(머리카락)'
그냥 간단하게 머리라고 해서
Just you can call '머리'
이 머리가 아니고
Not this head
이것도 '머리' 라고 불러도 괜찮아요
You can call this '머리' too
그래서 미용실에 가서 '머리를 자르다'
go to the hair salon and 'cut my hair'
'자르다'
'cut'
이렇게 말하면
In this way
미용사 : 커트를 하러 왔구나
Hairdresser: 'You're here to cut'
이렇게 생각을 할 거예요
He/She will think like this
그리고 또 여자들은 머리를 이렇게 자르지만
And women cut their hair like this
남자들은 머리가 짧으니까 이렇게 위잉~ 이렇게 하죠
Men have short hair, so they won't do this.
그거를 '자르다' 보다는 '깎다' 라는 단어를 사용합니다
Use the word '깎다' rather than '자르다'
그래서 남자분들은 이제 보통 미용실에 가서
So men usually go to the hair salon or barber shop
이렇게 말을 많이 하는 것 같아요
Men usually say like this.
머리를 자를 때
When cutting hair
잘못 말하면 그냥 "머리 잘라 주세요"
If you say it wrong, just "please cut my hair."
이렇게 말하면
In this way
머리를 마음대로 잘라버릴 수도 있겠죠
They can cut your hair freely.
그러니까 나는 지금 그냥 이 스타일
So I want just this style
이 스타일이 좋아요
I like this style
그냥 조금만 이렇게 자르고 싶어요
I want to cut a little while keeping the style.
이렇게 말하면 스타일 바꾸지 말고 지금 머리 그대로
If you say this, don't change this style.
조금 깨끗하게
A little neatly
'단정하게 해주세요' 라는 뜻이 됩니다
It means 'Please be neat'.
그리고 또 여자분들,
And the women,
남자분들도 마찬가지고 이렇게 여기 앞에 있는 머리
The same for the men. the hair in front of forehead
그것을 우리는 '앞머리' 이렇게 말해요
That's what we say 'bangs(앞머리)'
쉽지요? 앞에 있으니까 '앞'머리예요
Is it easy? It's in front of forehead so we call it 'front hair(앞머리)'
앞머리를 이렇게 이렇게 하고 싶어요
I want to do this like this
그러면 어떻게 말하면 좋을까요?
How can we say that?
이렇게 이야기 하시면 됩니다
You can say like this
그리고 또 이렇게 자르는 것 말고 '파마 하다'
And instead of cutting like this, 'perm'
아니면 색 바꾸는 것은 '염색하다' 이런 단어들도 있죠
Or there are words like changing colors that are 'dyed/colored'.
사실 이런 파마나 염색 같은 것들은 대부분이 영어로 되어 있는 단어들이 많아요
In fact, these perms and dyes are mostly English words
그래서 이렇게 사진을 보여주면서 이런 스타일로 해주세요
So show the picture and do it in this style
이렇게 말하면 쉬우실 거예요
It would be easy to say
어떻게 머리를 자를지
How to cut hair
어느 정도 자를지, 정도는 이제 말할 수 있으면 좋을 것 같아서
How much to cut, It would be nice if you could talk about it yourself.
오늘 이렇게 미용실에서 쓰는 표현에 대해서 연습을 해 봤습니다
So today we practiced expressions used in hair salons
여러분도 이제 한국 친구 없이 미용실에 가서 자신있게 말할 수 있겠죠
You can go to the salon without any Korean friends and say it with confidence
네, 그러면 오늘은 여기까지 하고 우리는 다음 방송에서 만나요
Good, so today We'll see you on the next video
