Sarah's Puppy Rescue

Sarah saw a small puppy in the park. It looked scared and alone. Sarah asked, "Are you lost?" The puppy wagged its tail. Sarah called her friend Amy for help. They made posters with a picture of the puppy. The girls walked around the neighborhood. They asked people, "Have you seen this puppy's owner?"

They went left, right, and straight ahead. No one knew the puppy. Sarah felt sad. Then, they heard someone call, "Max!" A boy ran up to them. "That's my puppy!" he said. The puppy jumped and barked happily. Sarah and Amy smiled. They were glad the puppy found its home. The boy said, "Thank you for helping Max." Sarah replied, "You're welcome. We're happy he's safe now."
