I am about to get on this airplane.
Hey everyone, it's Aliyah here.
I am at the airport.
I am at Los Angeles International Airport and I'm about to get on this airplane right behind me to take a flight.
I woke up at about 5 this morning.
My flight is at 8:30 a.m.
So, I needed enough time to get dressed and get an Uber, a ride to the airport.
That took about 40 minutes, and then go through security and get to my terminal and my gate.
Uh, I'm now sitting at my gate, obviously, because you can see the plane that I'm about to get on is right behind me.
When I arrived at the airport, I did not have to check in any bags because both of my bags are small enough to stay with me on the airplane.
So, I went straight to the security checkpoint and I sailed right through because I have something called TSA Pre-Check, which allows me to get through security more quickly.
And I have to tell you, it makes me really feel like I own the airport because I just walk right through.
even have to take off my shoes or my sweater or anything.
No laptop or iPad and I just get to walk right through and continue on to find my gate.
And today I'm in the Tom Bradley International Terminal um which is named after a former mayor of Los Angeles and it's the nicest terminal here at LAX airport.
So I always enjoy when I get to come in here.
I stopped by at a cafe to pick up a coffee and a pastry for breakfast since I got an early start.
I didn't have time to feed myself and now I'm sitting here waiting at the gate and looking forward to boarding my flight in a few minutes.
Uh when we board I will get up and get in line and scan my boarding pass, show my passport probably and get onto the plane and find my seat.
I got a window seat which I always do because I am a window person, because I love to look out at the clouds and I love to watch as I take off and land, especially in a new place.
Can't wait to see you guys on the other side of this flight.

My flight is going to be a direct flight to an international location.
