Have you tried learning a foreign language?

Yes, I have tried learning a few foreign languages.

The first language I tried was Spanish back when I was a bit younger.

But unfortunately I didn't try for very long.

My next language was Chinese.

I studied for a little while, but I never progressed past the beginner level.

My third language I tried was Swedish.

And similar to Chinese, I never went past the beginner level either.

My fourth language, and the one I'm currently learning, is Japanese.

Unlike the other languages, I have been learning Japanese for a number of years.

I am not fluent yet, but I am also not a beginner anymore!

Reading and listening are my main study methods.

I like to read Japanese comics and listen to YouTube videos.

I really want to be able to understand normal everyday conversations and be able to read books in Japanese, and not just comics!

If I keep reading and listening every day, I am sure that one day I will be able to do those things.
