Once upon a time, in Kyushu, there was a mountain pass called Kujukutoge, and down there was a deep pond called Kappa Pond.

The blue-black water of the pond looks creepy, and it is said that if you catch fish or swim in this pond, a terrifying kappa will appear and you will be killed without fail.

One evening, a farmer was washing his horse in the pond.

Suddenly, something pulls hard on the horse's reins.

The farmer panicked, grabbed the horse by the tail, and pulled it behind him.

As the horse ran up the bank, it shook something off.

When you look at it, it's actually a kappa with a plate on its head.
"Let's do this!
」
The farmer suddenly jumped on the kappa.

Kappa is famous for being strong, but when it got caught, it turned over in an instant and spilled all the water on its head.

Kappa will have no power if the water in the dish runs out.

The powerless Kappa was quickly defeated by the farmers and had his head shimeked.

Kappa's eyes go black and white and he puts his hands together in a bowing gesture.

When the farmer loosened his hand, Kappa apologized with his hand.

I will not do anything naughty again, so please forgive me.

Hearing of the treasure, the farmers are smiling.

All right, then, let's forgive him.
But what treasure can you offer me?"

Then, Kappa gave the farmer a letter and a piece of paper, as if he had been preparing it for some time,

I had a feeling that the farmer was somewhat suspicious,

(Well, let's just go and see.)
I was determined to get to the top of the mountain, so I climbed up the pass carrying a talu (a small metal object).
However, as I got closer to the top, I started to smell something.

I thought it was strange, so I looked around, but I didn't see anything unusual.

Surprisingly, the smell was leaking from inside the barrel I was carrying.
The farmer rushed out of his chest and read the letter.

The "I am a member of the community" was written on the wall.

The farmer was so surprised that he threw out his talu and hurried down the mountain pass.
