Story 30. Tiger and Fox—2
Based on a Chinese tale.
The fox and the tiger walked together in the forest.
The tiger was looking around.
The other animals in the forest—rabbits, deer, bears, and squirrels—saw the tiger and the fox coming, and they all ran away.
The fox was very pleased and said to the tiger, “Tiger, see, they are all afraid of me.”
Yes, you're right.
The tiger had to let the fox go.
See, everyone is running away from me!
