YOOPER English (Upper Peninsula of Michigan) with my Dad - Learn English with Camille (2)
snow load can get so heavy. Yeah. And to heat your home out in the country, there's no natural gas.
We have fuel oil that we can get which a lot of people will use, but that's very expensive.
So we just go out in the woods and we cut down trees and we dry dry firewood and we can save an
awful lot of money. But really either way you can pay for your fuel oil which would be anywhere from
probably 700 to 1400 dollars a month. You can go out there and work and pay it or you can just do
a little bit of physical work, cut down trees and bring it home and you don't pay for anything. Yeah
it is a lot of physical work, we were cutting down trees yesterday, hauling wood. Um it's a
good workout. It's definitely good exercise it's very rewarding and it it like i said it saves $700
to $1500 a month on your fuel. Huge savings and then you can keep your home nice and warm you
know. You can walk around barefoot in a t-shirt when it's stormy and cold and comfortable and you
don't feel guilty that you're burning expensive oil. Right that oil, that's a southern word dad,
did you learn that from me? Perhaps. Well dad it's been so fun to do this interview with you,
