Welcome to my house!

I am here with my son Kairo, my kids Maddox and Ivory.

We're in South Carolina and we thought it would be super fun to show you guys our house.

We're actually on our front porch which is the favorite of all of us. We're always outside. We have

our rocking chairs which is super southern. I feel like we spend, yeah a lot of time everyday

on our front porch. What do you guys think, do you wanna show them our house?

So this house we actually bought when I was pregnant with Ivory, sight unseen, we were in Mexico

at the time and so our in-laws came and checked out the house for us. It's an old mill house.

It's about 50 years old but we've done so much to make it home. I think one of my

favorite places of the house is our fireplace and our mantel. Calvin actually found this

wood, it was up at his dad's barn and together they made this mantel. My mother in law, she's

an amazing abstract artist and so this artwork is actually her artwork. It's incredible and

yeah my sister in law made me these little candle holders. I feel like Calvin's family

is so creative. This is a fun part of our living room. It's a gallery art wall and so

some of the paintings like I just threw together, like this one and the little heart and this

one. Calvin actually took this door photo, was it in Spain, I think. So yeah it's just

fun to bring art in, bring your own artwork in when you are decorating. Help. Oh help?

Okay! Let's go check out our dining room and kitchen.

This is such a special room because Calvin's dad made this table to uniquely fit this spot since it's pretty narrow and we're

just always in here. We're a family that loves food, we love to gather, hence even the gather photo.

But yeah we're always at these barstools that we have. The kids eat breakfast at the

bar every morning. Yeah, this is just a fun special spot.

So I think our kitchen is probably also one of my favorite spots in the house. We've done so much to transform this space

you guys. Before it was wallpapered. There were these old ugly countertops, we put in

new granite countertops. Calvin did an amazing backsplash. Yeah the house came, these are

the original appliances, the microwave, and the oven and the fridge. Do you guys wanna

see in my fridge? No, we will save that for another video.

Welcome to my bedroom, I love our room. It's such a peaceful place.

We have a king sized bed that is so comfortable and

Calvin actually built this really cool headboard. I love it! He used barnwood and just did like

a whitewash paint on it.

We have a TV, we don't use it that much, sometimes the kids

have dance parties in our room. They love that. This is Calvin's closet and then yeah

we don't use this spot but we have a cute little corner spot. Can we make this pizza? Umm

maybe later we can. Are you hungry? Do you want pizza? Yeah. Okay. Gotta make the pizza, I'll be right back.

Okay, oven's going.

Welcome to my amazing bathroom, I love it, I feel

like it's just huge, super spacious, it has a bathtub which I use a lot in the winter

and I always laugh because my Brazilian friends are like "You are rich!" when they see that

I have a bathtub but it's super normal in America to have a bathtub. I feel like every

house does. We originally had Calvin build these shelves because Ivory was digging in

our cupboards and so I wanted to move the stuff up but then she learned how to climb,

so it really doesn't even matter but the shelves are a cool accent. I have mine on this side

right here. Oh and one of my favorite spots in the house, I know I say that about every

spot but it's my closet. Maddox knows. Mom comes in here to get a moment, sometimes I

get a minute, sometimes I get 30 seconds but my closet is also really spacious. I can lay

down in here but yeah it's just a nice spot to get a moment of peace until my little kiddos

find me, right? Should we show them your bedroom? Let's go check out the kids room.

So this is actually a multipurpose room because

it's Kairo's room. He sleeps here in this crib, it's also our laundry room. I'm always

doing laundry as even an Airbnb host and then it's also like cupboards, storage, pantry space

since we don't have one in our kitchen. So very very useful room.

We learned how to maximize small spaces when we lived in Europe so yes.

This is our entryway which also leads into our garage which connects to our Airbnb

and a home office that Calvin built so let's go take a look at his office.

The office! I actually love Calvin's office. It's become very multifunctional just like our laundry room space.

I recently started filming videos in here, this is my studio, this is where Calvin roasts coffee right over here and his

full time job is a Graphic Designer, which he does right here everyday. Plus, he built

this amazing space out of our garage. He really is a jack of all trades you guys, I'm like

who is this man that I married? He's amazing, for sure!

Welcome to our pool. We spend a

lot of time out here all summer long, our kids love it. We also share our pool with

our Airbnb guests which is fun because we can meet new people and interact with them

and just share, share the pool. It's a great space, so come on, come for a swim, hang out!
