ESOL and New Scots stories, The Kelvingrove Museum

The Kelvingrove Museum

Last weekend, my friend and I went to Glasgow with our children in the school holidays. We decided to visit a museum. Museums are free in Scotland.

We took the bus because there were no trains in the morning. We got to Glasgow at 10.30.

First, we did some shopping. I bought a white dress with flowers for my daughter from Primark and my friend bought a blue dress for her daughter.

After, we went to a small café and had some cake and coffee then we walked to the Kelvingrove museum. It's a big red building.

At the museum, we saw many things. The children thought the ancient Egyptian statues were amazing! There were also many paintings of Scotland. The children thought the paintings were boring, but I really liked them! I liked to see all the different colours.

We had a really good day and we were all tired when we came home.
