English conversations with Beth #1 LMA007, DAMIJANA w BETH #5.1

DAMIJANA w BETH #5.1

Hi I hope that the storm has calmed down and that it is not too hectic for you at home at the moment.

I was just thinking back to the last bit of our conversation about Nessie the Loch Ness Monster so I thought I would tell you a little bit about nessie and about the word ‘loch' .

The word loch is actually a Scottish word so it's not used in England and it comes from the Scottish language of Gaelic which is mostly spoken in the islands, it is also spoken by some people on the mainland but it mostly is known in the islands.

The word ‘loch' is another word for lake and nessie lives in one of the biggest lochs which is called loch ness.

I hope you are having a lovely evening and I'll see you tomorrow
