Millions of Jellyfish – level 2

People saw millions of jellyfish near the shore in Crimea, Russia. There were so many of them that it looked like it was raining. This is an extremely rare phenomenon, and we do not know why it happens.

People believe that the species [ˈspiːʃiːz] of jellyfish is between 500 and 700 million years old.

Difficult words: shore (a waterfront), phenomenon (something which happens in nature), species (an animal kind).
