今日 は 十二支 に ついて 話します 十二支 は この 12種類 の 動物 から

なって います ネズミ 牛 トラ ウサギ 辰 蛇

馬 羊 猿 鶏 犬 猪

この １２種類 の 動物 から なって います

元々 は 昔々 の 中国 で 日付 と か 月 と か 年 を 表す ため に

使われて いた そうです あと は 時間 と か 方角 も 十二支 を 使って

表して いた んだ そうです それ が 昔 日本 に も 伝わりました

現在 の 日本 で は 日付 や 月 や 時間 や 方角 に は もう 使われて

い ない んです けど 年 に だけ は 今 でも 使われて います

例えば 今年 2022年 は 寅 年 です 去年 は 丑 年 でした

一昨年 は ねずみ 年 その 前 は いのしし 年 でした

来年 は うさぎ 年 です 再来年 は 辰 年

その 次の 年 は へび 年 です こんな 風 に 毎年 その 年 の 動物 が 決まって います

全部 で 12種類 ある ので 12年 に 1回

その 動物 が 回って きます だ から 次に 寅 年 が 来る の は

2034年 です ね 前回 の 寅年 は 2010年 だった

って こと です ね 実は 私 は 寅年 生まれ です

私 が 生まれた の は 36年 前 1986年 です

1986年 も 寅 年 でした 私 は 寅 年 に 生まれた ので 今年 は 年女 です

私 の 夫 も 今年 36歳 に なります 同い年 です

夫 も 寅 年 生まれ な ので 今年 は 年男 です 皆さん は 何 年 です か

私 と 同じ 寅 年 生まれ の 人 は 今 年 年 女 年 男 です よ

どうして 十二支 は この 12種類 の 動物 なんでしょう

そして どうして この 順番 な んでしょう ね 実は 十二支 が どう やって 決まった か

について の 物語 が あります 今 から その 物語 を 紹介 したい と 思います

年末 の ある 日 神様 が 動物達 を 集めて 言いました

「1月 1日 元日 の 朝 私 が 住む この 山 まで レース を しなさい

1番 から 12番 まで に ゴール した 動物 は 1年 ずつ 交代 で 順番 に

動物 の 王様 に して あげる 」と 言いました

動物 たち は 神様 の 話 を 聞いて 「よし ！12番 まで に 入れる ように 頑張ろう 」

と 思いました 猫 は 神様 の 話 を ちゃんと 聞いて いません でした

途中 で 居眠り して いました

話 が 終わった 後 目 を 覚ました 猫 は

「あれ ？レース は いつ って 言って たっけ ？

聞き そびれちゃった 」と 言いました する と それ を 聞いて いた ネズミ が

やってきて こう 言いました 「猫 くん

レース は 1月 2日 の 朝 だ よ ！頑張って ね 」「ありがとう ネズミ くん 」

1月 2日 の 朝 でしたっけ ？違います よ ね

ネズミ は 嘘 を ついた んです 猫 は ネズミ に 騙されて います

12月 31日 大晦日 の 夜 に なりました 最初に 出発した の は 牛 でした

「僕 は 走る の が 遅い から みんな より も 早く 出発 しなきゃ ！」

と 牛 が 一番 に 出発 しました その 様子 を ネズミ が

こっそり 見て いました

ネズミ は そ ーっと

近づいて 牛 の 背中 に 乗りました

牛 は 気づいて いません ネズミ は 自分 で 走ら ずに 牛 に

連れて 行って もらおう と 考えて いる んです ね ネズミ は ずる賢い です ね

夜 が 明ける と 他の 動物たち も 出発し 始めました

ウサギ は ピョンピョン 跳ねて いきました

トラ は 「絶対 1番 に なって やる ！」と すごい スピード で 走って

ウサギ を 追い越して いきました 辰 は 空 を 飛んで いきます

蛇 は ニョロニョロ と 地面 を 這って いきます 馬 と 羊 は 仲良し です

「一緒に 頑張ろう ！」と 仲良く 走って いきます 猿 と 犬 は 仲 が 悪い です

喧嘩 を し ながら 走って いきます そこ に 鶏 が やってきました

「喧嘩 し ないで ！」と 二 匹 の 喧嘩 を 止めました

2匹 が 喧嘩 を し ない ように 猿 と 犬 の 間 を 走って いきました

神様 が 「牛 が 一 番 かぁ 」と 思って いる と

ネズミ が ピョン と 飛び降りて 先 に ゴール しました

それ で ウサギ が 1番 牛 が 2番 に なった んです 3番 目 に は トラ が

それ に 続いて ウサギ が ゴール しました その 次に ゴール した の は 辰 です

その後 蛇 も ニョロニョロ やってきました 馬 と 羊 は 仲良く 一緒に 走って きました

でも ゴール の 直前 で 羊 が 「馬 さん お 先に どうぞ 」と 譲った ので

馬 が 先 に ゴール して

馬 羊 の 順番 に なりました 猿 と 犬 が 喧嘩 を し ない ように

鶏 が 間 に 入った ので 猿 鶏 犬 の 順番 で ゴール しました

最後 の 1匹 は 何 の 動物 でしょう 猛 スピード で やってきた の は イノシシ です

イノシシ は スピード を 出し 過ぎて 神様 の 住む 山 を 越えて 隣 の 山 まで

行って しまいました 「行き 過ぎた ！」と 気づいて

戻って 最後に ゴール しました

と いう 訳 で 十二支 は 子 丑 寅 卯 辰 巳 午 未 申 酉 戌 亥

この 順番 に 決まった んです 皆さん ネズミ に 騙された 猫 の こと を 覚えて います か

猫 は どう なった んでしょう 1月 2日 の 朝

猫 が 神様 の ところ に 行きました 誰 も いません

「誰 も いない ！一番 だ ！」

と 思ったら 神様 から レース は 昨日 だった

と 聞い で 猫 は 「ネズミ に 騙された ！」と 気づきました

怒った 猫 は それ 以来 ネズミ を 見る と 追いかける ように

なった んだ そうです 今日 は 十二支 を 紹介 しました
