約翰福音7 John 7

這事 以後 ， 耶穌 在 加利利 遊行 ， 不願 在 猶太 遊行 ， 因為 猶太人 想要 殺 他 。 After this, Jesus traveled in Galilee and did not want to travel in Judea because the Jews wanted to kill him. 當時 猶太人 的 住棚節 近 了 。 耶穌 的 弟兄 就 對 他 說 ： 你 離開 這裡 上 猶太 去罷 ， 叫 你 的 門徒 也 看見 你 所行 的 事 。 The brothers of Jesus said to him, Get out of here and go to Judea, so that your disciples may also see what you are doing. 人要 顯揚 名聲 ， 沒有 在 暗處 行事 的 ； 你 如果 行 這些 事 ， 就 當 將 自己 顯明 給 世人 看 。 No one works in the dark if he wants to make a name for himself; if you do these things, show yourself to the world. 因為 連他 的 弟兄 說 這話 ， 是 因為 不信 他 。 Because even his brother said this because he did not believe in him. 耶穌 就 對 他們 說 ： 我 的 時候 還 沒有 到 ； 你們 的 時候 常是 方便 的 。 Jesus said to them, My hour has not yet come; your hour is always convenient. 世人 不能 恨 你們 ， 卻是 恨 我 ， 因為 我 指證 他們 所 做 的 事 是 惡 的 。 你們 上去 過節 罷 ， 我 現在 不 上去 過 這 節 ， 因為 我 的 時候 還 沒有 滿 。 耶穌 說 了 這話 ， 仍舊 住 在 加利利 。 但 他 弟兄 上去 以後 ， 他 也 上去 過節 ， 不是 明 去 ， 似乎 是 暗 去 的 。 But after his brother went up, he also went to the festival, not in the open, but in secret. 正在 節期 ， 猶太人 尋找 耶穌 ， 說 ： 他 在 那裡 ？ During the feast, the Jews looked for Jesus and said, Where is he? 眾人 為 他 紛紛 議論 ， 有 的 說 ： 他 是 好人 。 Everyone was talking about him, some said: He is a good man. 有 的 說 ： 不然 ， 他 是 迷惑 眾人 的 。 只是 沒有 人 明明 的 講論 他 ， 因為 怕 猶太人 。 It's just that no one spoke about him explicitly because he was afraid of the Jews. 到 了 節期 ， 耶穌 上 殿 裡 去 教訓 人 。 At the time of the feast, Jesus went up to the temple to teach. 猶太人 就 希奇 ， 說 ： 這個 人 沒有 學過 ， 怎麼 明白 書 呢 ？ The Jews were astonished and said, "How can this man understand books without studying?" 耶穌 說 ： 我 的 教訓 不是 我 自己 的 ， 乃是 那差 我 來者 的 。 人若 立志 遵 著 他 的 旨意 行 ， 就 必 曉得 這 教訓 或是 出於 神 ， 或是 我 憑 著 自己 說 的 。 If anyone wills to do his will, he will know whether the teaching is from God, or whether I speak on my own. 人 憑 著 自己 說 ， 是 求 自己 的 榮耀 ； 惟有 求 那 差 他 來者 的 榮耀 ， 這人 是 真的 ， 在 他 心裡 沒有 不 義 。 He who speaks of himself seeks his own glory; but the one who sent him is true, and there is no unrighteousness in him. 摩西 豈不 是 傳 律法 給 你們 麼 ？ Did not Moses give you the law? 你們 卻 沒有 一個 人 守 律法 。 but none of you keep the law. 為 甚麼 想要 殺 我 呢 ？ Why do you want to kill me? 眾人 回答 說 ： 你 是 被 鬼 附著 了 ！ 誰 想要 殺 你 ？ Who wants to kill you? 耶穌 說 ： 我 做 了 一件 事 ， 你們 都 以 為 希奇 。 Jesus said: I have done something that you all marvel at. 摩西 傳 割禮 給 你們 （ 其實 不 是從 摩西 起 的 ， 乃 是從 祖先 起 的 ）， 因此 你們 也 在 安息日 給 人行 割禮 。 Moses gave you circumcision (not from Moses, but from your ancestors), so you also circumcision on the Sabbath. 人若 在 安息日 受 割禮 ， 免得 違背 摩西 的 律法 ， 我 在 安息日 叫 一個 人 全然 好 了 ， 你們 就 向 我 生氣 麼 ？ 不可 按 外貌 斷定 是非 ， 總要 按 公平 斷定 是非 。 Do not judge by appearance, but judge by fairness. 耶路撒冷 人中 有 的 說 ： 這 不是 他們 想要 殺 的 人麼 ？ Some of the Jerusalemites said: Isn't this the man they want to kill? 你 看 他 還 明明 的 講道 ， 他們 也 不 向 他 說 甚麼 ， 難道 官長 真 知道 這是 基督 麼 ？ You can see that he still preached clearly, and they didn't say anything to him. Do the rulers really know that this is the Christ? 然而 ， 我們 知道 這個 人 從 那裡 來 ； 只是 基督 來 的 時候 ， 沒有 人 知道 他 從 那裡 來 。 However, we know where this man came from; only when Christ came, no one knew where he came from. 那時 ， 耶穌 在 殿裡 教訓 人 ， 大聲 說 ： 你們 也 知道 我 ， 也 知道 我 從 那裡 來 ； 我來並 不是 由於 自己 。 At that time Jesus was teaching in the temple, and he said in a loud voice, You know me and where I come from; I did not come by myself. 但 那 差 我 來 的 是 真的 。 But it was true that sent me. 你們 不 認識 他 ， 我 卻 認識 他 ； 因為 我 是從 他來 的 ， 他 也 是 差 了 我 來 。 You do not know him, but I know him; for I am from him, and he sent me. 他們 就 想要 捉拿 耶穌 ； 只是 沒有 人 下手 ， 因為 他 的 時候 還 沒有 到 。 They tried to arrest Jesus; but no one did, because his time had not yet come. 但 眾人 中間 有 好些 信 他 的 ， 說 ： 基督 來 的 時候 ， 他 所行 的 神蹟 豈能 比 這人 所行 的 更 多麼 ？ But many among the crowd believed in him, saying, When the Christ comes, will he do more signs than this man? 法利賽 人 聽見 眾人 為 耶穌 這樣 紛紛 議論 ， 祭司長 和 法利賽 人 就 打發 差役 去 捉拿 他 。 When the Pharisees heard the crowd talking about Jesus, the chief priests and the Pharisees sent their officers to arrest him. 於是 耶穌 說 ： 我 還有 不多 的 時候 和 你們 同 在 ， 以後 就 回到 差 我 來 的 那裡 去 。 Then Jesus said: I will be with you a little while, and then I will return to the one who sent me. 你們 要 找 我 ， 卻 找 不著 ； 我 所在 的 地方 你們 不能 到 。 You seek me, but you cannot find me; where I am you cannot come. 猶太人 就 彼此 對問 說 ： 這人 要往 那裡 去 ， 叫 我們 找不著 呢 ？ The Jews asked one another, "Where is this man going so that we can't find him?" 難道 他 要 往 散 住 希利尼 中 的 猶太人 那裡 去 教訓 希 利尼人 麼 ？ Was he going to teach the Greeks to the Jews who were scattered among the Greeks? 他 說 ： 你們 要 找 我 ， 卻 找 不著 ； 我 所在 的 地方 ， 你們 不能 到 ， 這話 是 甚麼 意思 呢 ？ He said: You are looking for me, but you cannot find me; where I am, you cannot come, what does this mean? 節期 的 末日 ， 就是 最大 之 日 ， 耶穌 站 著 高聲 說 ： 人 若 渴 了 ， 可以 到 我 這裡 來 喝 。 On the last day of the feast, the greatest day, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink. 信 我 的 人 就 如 經 上 所說 ： 從 他 腹中 要 流出 活水 的 江河 來 。 Whoever believes in me is as the scripture says: Out of his belly will flow rivers of living water. 耶穌 這話 是 指著 信 他 之 人 要 受 聖靈 說 的 。 This is what Jesus said to mean that those who believe in him will receive the Holy Spirit. 那時 還 沒有 賜 下 聖靈 來 ， 因為 耶穌 尚未 得 著 榮耀 。 The Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified. 眾人 聽見 這話 ， 有 的 說 ： 這 真是 那 先知 。 When the people heard this, some said: This is really the prophet. 有 的 說 ： 這是 基督 。 但 也 有 的 說 ： 基督 豈 是從 加利利 出來 的 麼 ？ 經上 豈不是 說 基督 是 大衛 的 後裔 ， 從 大衛 本鄉 伯利恆 出來 的 麼 ？ Doesn't the scripture say that Christ is the seed of David, from Bethlehem, the hometown of David? 於是 眾人 因著 耶穌 起 了 分爭 。 So the people were divided because of Jesus. 其中 有人 要 捉拿 他 ， 只是 無人 下手 。 Some of them tried to arrest him, but no one started. 差役 回到 祭 司長 和 法利賽 人 那裡 。 The officers returned to the chief priests and Pharisees. 他們 對 差役 說 ； 你們 為 甚麼 沒有 帶 他 來 呢 ？ They said to the officers; Why did you not bring him? 差役 回答 說 ： 從來 沒有 像 他 這樣 說話 的 ！ The sergeant replied: Never has he spoken like this! 法利賽 人 說 ： 你們 也 受 了 迷惑 麼 ？ 官長 或是 法利賽 人 豈有 信 他 的 呢 ？ Did the rulers or the Pharisees believe in him? 但 這些 不 明白 律法 的 百姓 是 被 咒詛 的 ！ But these people who do not understand the law are accursed! 內中 有 尼哥底母 ， 就 是從 前去 見 耶穌 的 ， 對 他們 說 ： 不先 聽 本人 的 口供 ， 不 知道 他 所 做 的 事 ， 難道 我們 的 律法 還 定 他 的 罪 麼 ？ Among them was Nicodemus, who went to Jesus before, and said to them, Does our law condemn him if he does not listen to himself first, and does not know what he has done? 他們 回答 說 ： 你 也 是 出於 加利利 麼 ？ They answered: Are you also from Galilee? 你 且 去 查考 ， 就 可 知道 加利利 沒有 出 過 先知 。 Now go and search, and you will know that there was no prophet in Galilee.
