4 MOTIVI PER CUI NON C'È RAGIONE DI AVER PAURA DI FARE ERRORI

Quello che leggerete in questo articolo dovrebbe aiutarvi a capire che non c'è NESSUN MOTIVO di aver paura di fare errori quando si parla e si impara una lingua straniera.

A OTTOBRE 2013 sono andato con mio fratello e la segretaria di mio papà a Dusseldorf per rappresentare in una fiera che si tiene (viene fatta) ogni 3 anni, l'azienda di famiglia.

La fiera era riguardo alla PLASTICA.

Nonostante io non stia lavorando nell'azienda di famiglia, la ritenevo una bella opportunità per imparare cose nuove e praticare le mie lingue, così decisi di andare con loro!

Il mio ruolo è stato per 8 giorni quello di parlare di cose che non sapevo, con persone sconosciute che si sarebbero fermate se interessate al nostro stand (quello che vedete in foto), tutto questo in lingue che potevano essere dal tedesco allo spagnolo, inglese, francese, rumeno, portoghese, russo o qualsiasi altra lingua possiate immaginare!

Aggiungete a tutto questo il fatto che le persone con cui avrei dovuto parlare erano in media quasi tutti imprenditori di livello molto alto in cerca di affari, infatti questa fiera è una tra le più importanti tenute in Europa.

QUI SOTTO NELLA FOTO SI VEDONO SOLO 1/1000 delle persone che c'erano effettivamente nella fiera ogni giorno.

NON AVENDO MAI FATTO UNA COSA DEL GENERE PRIMA DI QUEL MOMENTO, POTETE IMMAGINARE IL PANICO INIZIALE!

Dopo aver consultato mio fratello e la Monica (la segretaria) ho memorizzato in 1 giorno le informazioni relative ai prodotti e tutte le risposte alle domande più comuni che mi venivano fatte!

Mentre il primo e il secondo giorno non ero mai stato lasciato da solo allo stand, a partire dal 3° ci sono stati moltissimi momenti in cui ero l'unico che doveva accogliere i passanti e rispondere alle loro domande in varie lingue.

Mentre aspettavo le prime 20 persone con cui ho parlato mi stavo letteralmente “cagando addosso dalla paura!” (espressione volgare = avevo molta paura)

Questo era dovuto non solo al fatto che non ero sicuro di cosa rispondere in caso di domande sul materiale in esposizione, ma anche dal fatto che dovevo rispondere in una lingua che non sapevo quale fosse fino al momento in cui la persona con cui dovevo parlare apriva la bocca.

Alcuni erano cinesi che parlavano un inglese un po' incomprensibile, altri francesi che non sapevano l'inglese, altri latino americani, rumeni, tedeschi, russi, polacchi ecc… Il punto di tutto questo è che nonostante avessi all'inizio paura, ho parlato con tutti nella loro lingua madre, se sapevo che fosse una tra RUMENO, SPAGNOLO, FRANCESE, INGLESE e un po' TEDESCO! Se vedevo che un inglese aveva un accento da rumeno gli dicevo in rumeno: “Esti roman?” “Sei rumeno?”

La reazione dei rumeni è sempre stata la più bella poiché in pochi si aspettano che tu possa parlare rumeno! Un rumeno mi ha addirittura abbracciato!! Credo che parlando francese, spagnolo, rumeno, inglese, italiano e un po' tedesco, io abbia fatto 20’000 errori in 8 giorni! Risultato : nessuno mi ha corretto, ma al contrario mi sono divertito moltissimo e quelli con cui parlavo sono sempre riusciti a capire quello che dicevo!

Questo ha eliminato definitivamente anche la minima paura di fare errori che mi rimaneva prima della fiera.

Voglio quindi darvi qui 4 MOTIVI PER CUI NON C'È RAGIONE DI AVER PAURA DI FARE ERRORI: Se fai un errore e vieni corretto ti ricorderai più facilmente la forma corretta! Tutti fanno errori, nessuno è perfetto e già questo dovrebbe liberare tutti da questa paura! Questa paura può limitare la tua vita enormemente se non decidi di NON AVER PAURA DI FARE ERRORI. La paura è causata solo dall'anticipazione nella nostra testa di una “POSSIBILE” eventualità futura, nel nostro caso il fatto di avere vergogna di dire qualcosa di sbagliato in un'altra lingua. Fai un favore a te stesso e quando puoi PARLA! Non c'è veramente nulla di cui avere paura in questo caso.

Nonostante io non stia lavorando nell’azienda di famiglia, la ritenevo una bella opportunità per imparare cose nuove e praticare le mie lingue, così decisi di andare con loro!
