Koala Rides on a Wheel – level 2

A man was driving his car near Adelaide, Australia. After a 16-kilometre drive, he stopped and noticed some noise coming from the car. There was a koala inside of one of the car's arches.

An animal rescue organisation took her to the vet to help her. Then they brought her back to the wild, where she quickly climbed up a tree and went to sleep.

Koalas are a vulnerable species because there are less than 100,000 of them in the wild.

Difficult words: arch (one of the car's four spaces for the wheel), vulnerable (in danger), species (a type of animal).
