Become strong doing laundry
Recently I stumbled across a strength training technique.
It's called “The Russian Laundry.”
Apparently many Russian women still wash and wring out their laundry by hand!
And this exercise is based on that fact.
So, the exercise is pretty straightforward.
You find a towel, wet it, and wring it out.
It can also work with a dry towel, but it's not quite as good.
You can definitely develop a very strong grip from this exercise.
But to wring the towel as hard as possible, it actually requires using all your muscles, not just grip strength.
I was surprised by how much tension there was in my whole body when I was first trying this exercise.
The Russian Laundry can be done almost anywhere, and I actually find it pretty fun to do!
I have been doing it almost everyday since I found out about it.
