1 Psalmus ipsi David. Ad te, Domine, clamabo ; Deus meus, ne sileas a me : nequando taceas a me, et assimilabor descendentibus in lacum. To you and my salvation; O my God, be not thou silent to me: lest thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit. 2 Exaudi, Domine, vocem deprecationis meæ dum oro ad te ; dum extollo manus meas ad templum sanctum tuum. 2 Hear, Lord, the voice of my supplication as I pray to you; while I raise my hands to your holy temple. 3 Ne simul trahas me cum peccatoribus, et cum operantibus iniquitatem ne perdas me ; qui loquuntur pacem cum proximo suo, mala autem in cordibus eorum. 3 Do not draw me together with sinners, and do not lose me with those who work iniquity; who speak peace with their neighbor, but evil is in their hearts. 4 Da illis secundum opera eorum, et secundum nequitiam adinventionum ipsorum. 4 One thing they do, and the wickedness of their own. Secundum opera manuum eorum tribue illis ; redde retributionem eorum ipsis.
