Empuriabrava. Viernes, 1 de agosto. 17.00 h. Loli y Raúl llevan más de una hora perdidos por Empuriabrava. ¿Dónde está el apartamento? −Perdón− dice Raúl sacando la cabeza por la ventanilla del coche. El hombre al que se dirige es extranjero, como el noventa por ciento de la población de Empuriabrava− ¡Vaya, otro guiri! −le dice Raúl a Loli−. Excuse me. I'm looking for… −lee el nombre del edificio en el papel que le dio Nacho: «The sun of the beach»−. «¡Sanofabich!» −dice con una sonrisa, orgulloso de su inglés. El hombre mira a Raúl, con sus piercings y sus tatuajes, y se va sin decir nada, moviendo la cabeza. −Vamos a preguntar a otro −dice Loli. Se acercan a un hombre alto y rubio. −¡Please, mister! −dice Raúl−. I'm looking for… −se le olvida el nombre raro del edificio−. I…, you… «Sanofabich». −El hombre pone cara de sorpresa−. Do you understand me? −dice levantando la voz. Raúl, como mucha gente, piensa que a los extranjeros hay que hablarles alto−. «¡Sanofabich!». El hombre dice algo que Raúl no entiende y se va. Esta escena se repite cinco veces con el mismo resultado. −¡No te entienden! ¿No lo ves? No sabes inglés −dice Loli. −¡Claro que sé inglés! Lo que pasa es que estos guiris seguro que son franceses o italianos o… ¡Qué sé yo! Y este pueblo es todo igual: canales y más canales… −Tengo mucha sed y estoy cansada. −Vamos a parar y a tomar algo en ese bar. Se sientan en la terraza de un bar. Piden dos cervezas y dos sándwiches de jamón y queso. Suena el móvil de Loli. −¡Pepa! ¿Qué tal? ¡Estamos en Empuriabrava! Pero estamos perdidos. Raúl no encuentra el apartamento de su amigo y… −Loli, por favor. Para. Quiero hablar con Raúl. Loli le da el móvil a su amigo. −Raúl −dice Pepa−, te he llamado un montón de veces. ¿Por qué no contestas? −¿Me has llamado a mí? −Raúl saca el móvil del bolsillo de su pantalón−. ¡Anda! Si está apagado…! ¿Qué quieres? ¿Dónde estás? −Estoy en la autopista. Voy hacia Empuriabrava… −¡Hostias24, qué bien! ¿Vienes con nosotros de vacaciones? −Mira a Loli−.
