Capitulo 4

Barcelona. Viernes, 1 de agosto. 12.00 h. Pepa sube en el taxi por el Paseo de Gracia19. Está cansada y le duele la cabeza. Cuando sale con su amigo Raúl siempre pasa lo mismo: bares y más bares; copas y más copas. Solo ha dormido cuatro horas: se fue a dormir a las seis de la mañana y se ha levantado a las diez. Hace mucho calor. Pero tiene que trabajar. Primero recoge a una pareja de turistas franceses a los que lleva hasta el Camp Nou, el campo del Fútbol Club Barcelona. Para un momento en un bar a comprar una Coca-Cola. Después sube al taxi una señora elegante que va a la zona alta de la ciudad. A continuación lleva a tres chicas americanas a la playa de la Barceloneta. Bajando por Vía Layetana, la voz de la operadora suena a través de la emisora. −Un cliente pide el taxi con el número de licencia 2325 para el Hotel Arts. «Soy yo, es mi número de licencia», piensa Pepa. «¡Qué raro!
