It was night and I drove my taxi around the city as usual, but that day there was little movement or, apparently, less than usual.

I stopped at a bar to have a coffee and I met a classmate who had just finished the day and was already leaving for home. When I told him how quiet I was being that night he told me that there was a big party at the Sheriton Hotel and that people were always asking for taxis. I went straight there and, sure enough, as soon as I approached the hotel, I saw a man at the door who gestured with his arm.

Estacioné justo delante del hotel. I parked right in front of the hotel. The man, who was "quite happy" approached me and asked me to take him to the Hotel Sheriton, on London Street. I kept looking at him, surprised that we were indeed at the Sheriton Hotel on London Street. But he insisted that he wanted to go to that hotel. I made him see that we were already where he wanted to go, but maybe he did not remember it because of alcohol. He, very indignant, told me: "This is not the hotel where I am staying, take me to my hotel!". Entonces le dije: “Ok. Then I said: "Ok. Súbase, lo llevo a su hotel”. Get up, I'll take you to your hotel. The man got up, I started, I went around the block a couple of times and after five minutes I parked at the hotel's door, in the same place where we had started the trip. The man looked out, smiled, paid me the trip and went happily to his hotel.
